I think aggressive would of been maybe $199 but those tablet things cost $499 and up so maybe they are right. It's just the PS3 costs $299, comes with a big hard drive and a blu-ray player...O_o...why is the future always so expensive? =(

As long as M$ is publishing the games, they will NEVER be a part of any other platform BUT this is where things get interesting. Epic had said that Gears 2 would be the last Gears game until the " new " consoles launch and then M$ decided to extend this gen with the 360 S and Kinect and backing up the Redmond Brinks truck to Epic to make the Gears 3 game. Now Epic has said that this is definitely the last Gears game this gen...SOooooo...

Definitely NO winners this year. I thought this E3 was going to be a raging fire of great game announcements and showings but instead it wasn't mush more than a slow burn. As a gamer tho, it still was better than reading about Sony's issue's for another month...O_o

This has to be one of the best looking games ever made. The in real time brutal take downs and cover system are unmatched anywhere in gaming tho many have tried. The animations and artwork will never be mistaken for any other game and it features a great memorable cast of characters...can wait.

These type of games as well as all the Wii and Move stuff are just mimicking the classic arcade games people grew up on.
It needs work. Why can't you just use hand signs to move no different than those great Ghost Recon games use to do. Things like saying or using hand signals to motion commands like..on me..and..suppressive fire..or..take them out or..take cover...would be a better suited game play experience for Kinect.

I think they really need to come up with a people's choice award for game of the year. The gaming media is important but far to political in nature.

With M$ kicking off the press event with MW3, it brought the gaming FPS world to it's needs. Yes, it wasn't that different than other COD offerings but what was on display was the difference between these 2 franchises. One is a Hollywood blockbuster and the other a documentary from the Tlc channel.

Games like this were the Farmvilles of yesteryear and many people, especially M$, missed a glorius opportunity to bring these type of games over to XBL and build a facebook type of community, on XBL, built around games like ZooTycoon, Roller Coaster Tycoon and all games that offered endless hours of fun. The game that you play on the Nintendo handheld controller is the exact same game that you will play on the big screen. The PS vita is not the same as a ps3 and the games will always be different.

Nintendo is the cheapest console and handheld maker ever. The greed they show is unprecedented in gaming. People like to talk about M$ but M$ has said many times they envy Nintendo. Put out far FAR inferior products with some dumb gimmick and charge a premium for it. My guess is the wii costs about $25-30 to make and sell...the ds even less. Spec-ops was one of my favorite modes and this fits in nicely with the whole Firefight/horde mode stuff adding value to the whole experience. It sounds pretty intense with Helo's and ( gulp ) dogs strapped with C4. COD is going to wipe the floor with the competition this year.
