I don't know who would get excited about a game that basically is a series of interviews. I'm surprised the game has done as well as it has and the marketing campaign probably has something to do with that but that is not cheap as well.

Cliff, you have to break these kinds of things down into percentages like the PS3 devs. You know like ND, Guerrilla, Sucker Punch and Santa Monica...etc.
What you say is Gears 1 was like 50%, then Gears 2 was like 75% and now, through the power of 360 you've now reached 95% but there is still another 5% in there....lol...Seriously, the Sony dev camp are pros at this kind of stuff and started the gen off this way.

Where's Halo wars??? There is a great big RTS community waiting for the next big game and Halo wars was a great start...where's the sequel. It sold millions and M$ just walked away and closed down the dev...o_O
Why is there no TPS Halo game like Ghost Recon or So-com??? The Halo universe is big enough for a lot of back story. Noble team would of made a great Recon like game.

It was very Tony Montana inspired dialogue with that crazy, loco humor. Biggest surprise of E3 for me. I also thought Tomb Raider looked amazing...didn't see that one coming on so strong...YES, grunts and all.

I feel sorry for the people that bought this game on any system. I even saw a commercial running for this crap on T.V. It's obvious that Gearbox does not respect gamers and went for the fast cash grab and nostalgic feelings people have for the franchise.
I hope people who bought this turd make Gearbox pay by not wasting their money on any of their games...I new this wasn't going to be very good game but damn!!!

Survival ( Firefight/horde ) mode was only shown behind the scenes so it will be great to finally see what the media has been raving about.
btw...maybe Dice will show that awesome desert action on a PC nobody owns where you drive for ten minutes looking at smoke...

I don't have any problems with the game and the multi-player is a lot of fun. I heard all these stories about how bad it looked and played but the game is solid and I think the multi-player is great fun. If you haven't given it a shot, by all means do so. I think it's selling for about $39.99 at the moment and well worth it.

I thought it would of been more since the 360 is the hardcore console. The Playstation has always been the softcore ( lol ) console with things like Ratchet and Clank, crash bandicoot and silly JRPG's then with xbox 360 coming out with/announcing Halo, Mass effect, Alan wake, Gears, Graw, Too human, Forza and Bioshock this gen, Sony had no choice ( dumb pride and cockiness ) but try to be hardcore...Unfortunately, it cost them dearly as Nintendo regained it's dominate posit...

...It will be 2/3rds 360 while PC and PS3 will share the last 1/3rd. It's been that way all year and actually, this entire gen with few exceptions and that is why Dice and EA have it backwards with Battlefield 3 showing only PC footage and when the sales come in, the proof will be there for all to see.

I paid full price ( $69.99 )...NOT IMPRESSED, but the game was a gift for a family member that likes those types of games. Even so, the game is sitting in the corner somewhere gathering dust. It's the same thing over and over. It should of stayed exclusive to the PS3. I think that demographic would be better suited to this kind of cut scene nonsense.
