If someone has run out their 60GB or 40Gb drives an upgrade is needed, it's better than deleting stuff you may want.
I have a 250GB PS3 now and have no fear of running out of space. I'll just delete the really really old videos if I ever need to, or I'll get a 500GB drive :D
You'll have to send the PS3 in with the HDD, so maybe if you get a bigger HDD to save the data, then send the old HDD back in the PS3. When you get the new/repaired PS3 you can put the bigger HDD back in :D
No doubt about it, LBP is THE game to get this year!
I did that lol, jumped straight into the Crysis editor and was like "Right... errr okay, where do I begin?" That's pretty much what that guy did.
Sony are quite content to sit back and let the money roll in from the 360 camp for SE. It's probably why we haven't seen any articles or statements from Sony trying to heal a wound, because there is no wound to heal...
Bubbles!
Sony and Konami have a very healthy relationship, I don't actually think money was involved in that case. Konami said MGS4 didn't have to be bought exclusively for the PS3 because Hideo Kojima wanted it to stay on the PS3 and didn't want otherwise so Sony didn't need to pay for exclusivity. Although, I'm sure Konami would have loved to release it for PS3 and 360 to reap the added rewards.
Not every part of the world does business solely with cash in mind, lots of places prefer go...
This doesn't say Microsoft paid Square so they could break an exclusivity deal. It says that because Square made a deal with Microsoft, it's Microsoft that'll be paying the fee for the breach of the exclusive contract with Sony.
Basically, Microsoft haven't paid for anything, but they'll be paying the fee for breaching a deal (if there was one) between Sony and Square.
Seriously... read it through a few times and understand what's being said. Square already said they...
I completely agree.
There's only so much time in one's life to game; patience is something more people should look to gain.
Just 1 month to Spore. Just two and a half months to Home. Just 3 months to Resistance 2 and Motorstorm:PR. Just 5 months to Killzone 2.
The gaps may seem huge but (ironically) time flies if you have the patience to wait for something and busy yourself with other things.
Seriously, imagine having a proper production of a monthly review show by a group of people that took place in their apartments in Home but there were different apartments for different games. You had to turn up to the one you wanted to watch lol, that'd be awesome!
You could then produce your own T-shirts to sell as merchandise for the show, Home has amazing depth to it. Could even earn some cash doing it...
That's the way I've expected things to pan out. I've said so for the last year.
LBP is a community game at heart. Home is a hub for the PS3 community (Kinda like a huge 3D XMB). Both fit perfectly together.
I'm still expecting an October 31st date to be stamped on it to safeguard disappointment, but I expect it sooner than that, let's say maybe a week either side of the LBP release :)
Yes. But for a brief period of time. A price cut gives those waiting to buy a console a good enough reason for them to get out there and finally buy it. I don't see it changing things in the long run though. The 360 just doesn't have the games for the future, Gears then Halo then Gears will get boring and won't work, they need more 1st party innovative games rather than games they've bought from Sony...
Price cuts work, most of the time anyway, but the Ps3 will still have the big...
Home is far from a joke, in fact it's one thing that'll put PSN above XBL.
Titled "Burn the rope... again", it's exactly the same game but with a slightly shorter rope.
Awesome!
You have to take the film as something completely independent even though it came from a game we all know about. The Metal Gear movie won't be exactly like the games; the Max Payne movie will be different also. It doesn't mean it's bad, it shouldn't really be compared to the game anyway, the Tomb Raider movies weren't bad, neither was Final Fantasy or Resident Evil. If the movie was exactly like the game it wouldn't work, imagine a MGS movie where it played through exactly like the cutscenes ...
I forgot I imported the US version... I only did so for Uncharted and Skate. So I'd imported the game to get it early because it wasn't out here in Europe till about a week later and now I can't get the trophies. The one time they give the Europeans something first is the time I'd imported the game from the US, great...
Nvidia will always be safe in the GFX card department, so even if their chipsets fail they have something concrete to fall back on, something they do tremendously well.
We're onto the 9 series now. Nvidia are doing fine overall, they have my custom anyway, I'll be getting my Gfx cards from them in the future.
That's a dangerous road to go down though. By getting everyone to take the law into their own hands you end up with anarchy. The biggest problem is that this is domestic violence, closed off to the surroundings and quite often sick people can get away with absolutely anything behind closed doors right under other people's noses without them ever guessing that something was wrong in the first place.
I've heard of lots of stories exactly the same as this, most of them involve a rel...
This 'fanboy console war' has escalated way too far when you start seeing comments like those from Cloud and Lightning. I think the fact that those guys can remain anonymous online is the only reason they've posted those comments, because they can get away with it. Lightning is even more pathetic in the way that all the comments are meant to make out she's some Sony fanboy, it's got to that extreme that now fanboys are pretending to be fanboys.
I think those sort of ignorant &...
If you're worrying about running out of space just upgrade the HDD. It's really easy and quick, will save you the trouble of having to delete stuff :)
