From the sound of it Infamous deserves to be a AAA title. I don't expect it to get it but these days anything could happen.

7 pages is actually quite impressive from a single post.

It's not often a good superhero style game comes along that isn't based on a movie, then we get this game. Awesome.

GotY? I was right last year with MGS4, which did indeed win an award. Infamous has an incredibly deep storyline to it, backed up with the mid-May novels they'll be releasing. Reminds me of the back story for Dead Space (Which has led to a prequel for the Wii).

Have you seen the new vids over at Gametrailers? There's a brill vid called Empire City which quickly shows you the different districts. Some real nice things coming from this game, all down to the tiny details like being able to choose whether a hero or villain poster is put up around the city to represent you.

A well fleshed-out game I think :)

Wow dude, you seriously believe PS3 fanboys rule the world? Slight paranoia issue there. IGN doesn't need to please to get more hits, it's a world-famous game site, I think it's doing pretty well on it's own without needing to beef up this one game to get extra hits. But fair play, freedom of speech and all that, I remember a year ago IGN was very pro-360.

I think it's impressive that Infamous is actually getting positive attention from IGN at all tbh. The site has been a PS3 dea...

When IGN gives a game a good preview it means they've sat there and played it solidly without wanting to get up, which is a great sign for Infamous and everyone following it.

Imo, guns are overrated when you can fling balls of grenade-like lightning from yourself, or force cars into people.

When I first heard about Prototype I thought it would be a more espionage-based game, shape-shifting to get from one place to another, but the guy is practically invincible and th...

Yeah Soljah, there's a vid at Gametrailers called Empire City with that song as the backing track. Awesome vid too. InFamous has a great atmosphere, the comic-book style really works.

As for that pic Ghost, you can see her in action in a vid at GT lol

I think if MS bring out this new OS in a year they should offer those people who bought and supported Vista with discount upgrades to Windows 7. This is Microsoft though... I can hope for things like discounts I suppose, but it's likely that we won't get them.

The advice for people considering Vista was to either get it with a new PC or stick with XP. I got Vista free with my custom PC, so can't complain about it really. It's not like it cost me anything.

Hopefully Windows 7 will promote multicore gaming more than Vista has done. Us high end Dual core/ Quad core users would appreciate it :)

DX10 and multicore gaming are two of the big things Vista has given us. However it has made me reformat my system twice since getting ...

Okay, I asked myself that question about half a year ago, designing my new PC. Are games built for quads? Well to be perfectly honest I can name 3 off the top of my head right now: Crysis, Supreme Commander and Universe at War: Earth Assault.

More games will be made compatible with Quads as time progresses. If you're buying a brand new PC now, get a quadcore (Intel's perform faster in the majority of tests). If you currently have a Dualcore then no worries really, DC systems are ...

The Warriors was a great game, I can definitely see Max Payne 3 being a great game too, solely because of who's developing it. I believe it'll come out around the same time as the film, could be wrong on that one though...

As for the PS3 exclusive, whatever those guys bring out will have a lot of noise around it in the media (both good or bad). On top of this game being an exclusive it also allows R* North to get to grips with the PS3 a lot better, if they prefer it and feel they...

He didn't say he doesn't like motion controls he just doesn't think they're implemented properly or correctly in games. For Killzone 2 it's an intense traditional FPS (no motion control, hereby MC), so when the player comes to a door that requires them to use the MC it breaks the game up to such a degree that it could ruin the atmosphere of the game.

I agree with him on that, forcing the MC functionality on players doesn't end well (E.G Lair), but good implementation and/or optio...

I think most here expect Kotaku to come out with an article listing '5 bad things', that's where this negativity stems from.

Was worth the wait because it was awesome! Looks like I'll have a blast playing that, looking forward to meeting some of you online and blowing stuff up! :)

Yet we get offline bots, how does that work?

6357d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Totally agree. It spreads wider than Kotaku like you say.

Last year everyone was planning the PS3's funeral, now they don't know what to do with themselves. It's so funny to watch those people squirm about constantly trying to find negatives in PS3 games.

The funniest thing is now that positive PS3 news is coming out and is appearing on N4G the 360 fanboys are adamant that this site is pro-Sony, whereas in fact it's just no longer solely pro-MS, there's a huge differ...

With 4GB recommended.

I don't think Vista is as bad as everyone is saying it is. Having now owned it for 6 months I haven't had many issues with it. Is it Microsoft-hate that's prolonging the Vista hatred? Whatever the reason I think Microsoft should release Windows 7 as a cheap upgrade to Vista users if they're going to try and 'paint-over' the Vista OS with this new iteration.

The last trophy visible on there is one that says 'expert creator', so I'm guessing you get trophies for sharing a certain amount of levels/creating them.

The others are for completing levels but there'll be more below that. LBP definitely has legs having seen that, this will fit in so well with Home upon it's release!

6358d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Home will be there for sure.

I want to know what that BBC game is too. I've been looking forward to Leipzig and Sony's conference for that mainly!

Btw, Pain is set to get trophy support on September 4th. It's on the Pain site.

Okay, to those currently in the Home Beta there will be a live demo of Home at Leipzig, not sure exactly when it will be but to all involved I'm just making sure you're aware. Hold back on the profanities over the coming week please :D
