I wish PS4 had games as good as Peggle 2 and PVZ.
I saw a demo of this last year on 16mb of video memory. Blew my mind. Good to hear it is easily plugged into UE4, I hope it will work well with all engines eventually.
Didn't Sony announce the release date last E3 :D
The coop part of Halo was always my favorite, at least in the first two games and Destiny is definitely taking that experience to the next level. Everything feels very familiar to Halo from a gameplay perspective so far and I think that is a good thing. Just deliver a great story to go along with the cooperative experience and it can't go wrong!
Stick it to the Man is actually pretty fun. Although I already own it so I am disappointed it is the title as well haha.
Wish they could have made Child of Light the PS+ game of the month.
The only games I own on PS4 are Resogun, Ground Zeroes, Second Son and Killzone. And the only two of those I really like are Resogun and Ground Zeroes. I play all cross platform games on the superior PC. So for me it is a huge issue, in fact it is rare I even turn the PS4 on these days. However, for people that do not have good PC's I can see how they would have plenty of content and enjoy the second hand ports of indie games.
My main uses for Kinect are to open games/apps, record game clips, snap apps during commercials, change channels on TV, search for content and to turn the Xbox off at night. There are other things it does on its own that I also appreciate though, such as: monitoring use for battery saving, switching controller settings when you grab a different controller and signing me in when I enter the room. Overall, I think it does quite a bit. I can't imagine not having it at this point.
Why show it when it wasn't tested though? I never understand that. They know the press is there to analyze it. Why show something that isn't ready?
Trust me, I develop for it and own both a phone and tablet. It is by far more buggy than iOS. Getting an app to work across all Android devices is an exercise in futility. They all run difference OS's and each OS is customized and all of them are buggy as hell. Android is awesome and I love it, but I can't lie and say it is a stable OS for development or even use for that matter.
I hope this doesn't end up being the PS+ game.
I like the art style and atmosphere. Beyond that they haven't really shown much that I liked though. The combat looked stiff, the camera looks confined and so many scripted events with QTE's. I will hold judgment until it releases but as of now this one I am very worried to hype.
I am excited for this... but Shenmue 2 bored me to death haha. I was pretty young when I played it though, maybe I should give it another play through.
Xbox One gets Forza 5, PS4 gets Cell Damage HD :D
I saw this review this morning.. It seemed the author was expecting a different game than I am. His points were valid for a traditional RPG, but that was never how I saw Child of Light.
Anyhow, I can't say his points are invalid but I do think that sometimes the reviewer needs to step back and look at the game the creators made instead of the game they wanted.
Serial farter at Naughty Dog confirmed.
I love the music! Everything else looks ok.. Having trouble getting hyped for this one, but I am sure once it gets closer I will be.
True, but you can't say it isn't a powerful tool in developing complex relationships in storytelling.
I am not saying it is meant for all games, but it is definitely a powerful way to engage the player.
I wish they would add controller support to the PC versions of the games. Maybe they can do that while they are porting them.
Really like the idea of changing camera angles during documentaries and also the time based social commentary. Definitely good ideas, hope they can pull them off in a way that is engaging.
I can tell Microsoft an easy way to win... Open the system up to all developers. Self publishing of apps and games. War over.
