Child of Light is a tough act to follow, but damn this looks and sounds great.
I would think the art style for Halo is pretty set by now :D. Hasn't really changed since the first game, although the lighting in Halo 4 was fire!
Bastion was an XNA game, so they are probably bitter that MS stopped making that framework haha.
Nice, I plan on getting Watch Dogs on PC for sure. Wolfenstein I haven't decided. Depends on how well it runs on each platform.
It works 100% for me if there is no noise, but if there is noise like a sink running etc it has trouble. Although reading the white paper on Kinect it kind of made sense to me why that was. Typically when you talk to Kinect when the system is on, it offloads the voice patterns and filters out noise using the GPU/CPU of the Xbox One to get better results. However, when the Xbox One is in standby the Kinect is trying to do this on its own with a much less powerful processor that cannot do the s...
Different developers, Super Time Force is made by Capybara and Mercenary Kings is made by Tribute. No offense to Mercenary Kings because it is fun, but Super Time Force is on a completely different level. They both share being 2d shooters, but Super Time Force has such deep gameplay mechanics and much better presentation/story/gameplay.
And it should be mentioned that the Kinect Bundle is still the top selling version. On Amazon the Kinect Bundle with Titanfall is selling three times better than the new SKU even in the first week of availability.
Microsoft didn't remove Kinect as you say, they offered a separate SKU without it. They gave the choice so they didn't have to hear about it being forced.
Loving this game so much right now. It is so different than anything I have ever played that I have trouble explaining it though haha. Completely obsessed with trying to rescue the past me, it is like a mini game in itself. Anyone holding off on getting this, really needs to just pull the trigger, it is what video games are all about.. So challenging, with so many ways to get through the challenges. And damn fun! KOOKABUNGA!!!
Me too. Better than fine. I love my Kinect.
I love it personally. For gaming and as an input for the OS.
Kind of interesting that after all the hoopla over Kinect, that the Kinect Version of X1 is still outselling the version without it by a ton. On Amazon Titanfall Bundle is ranked 30 and climbing overall, the unit without Kinect is ranked 90 and falling. Looks like Microsoft did know their customers after all. Still I think it is good to get it out there just to shut all the haters up.
I plan to pick it up on the PC... If it is good : )
Pretty excited for this game. Bastion had a lot of promise even if the game as a whole felt a little lacking, but you could see the promise in this developer. Hoping Transistor delivers on the potential they showed in Bastion.
Cool, can't wait but for now I am back to playing Super Time Force! KOOKABUNGA!!!
I bought it : ). Pretty great game. Wish it had load times like the PS3 version but the graphics improvements are pretty cool.
I mostly agree. I think the use of Kinect throughout the Xbox One OS is pretty amazing but as far as use in games it hasn't done very much to show why gamers need it.
However, I do think the integration of it in the OS is reason enough for people to want it. There is no way I would give mine up, it is the primary way I interact with my system.
Interesting, I thought it signaled a more consumer friendly Microsoft that listened to their customers wants and reacted in a very timely fashion. They didn't drop Kinect, they offered a "choice" consumers asked for to buy it separately.
Anyone that sees this as a bad thing, is either a hater or just likes to complain.
Come on man, let's be honest here. PS4 has how many games compared to the PS3? It is an obvious reason.
Oh, that is true. Maybe on to something!
8 out of 10 best selling games.. Not bad for a company that isn't about games!
