There's a lot of garbage added to Twin Snakes. Kiddie stuff, Nintendo references, ridiculously over-exaggerated backflips (more understandable from Raiden, but not Snake).
Also, a lot of the voiceovers are worse in Twin Snakes. A few lines are read a bit better, some are similar, but a decent chunk are worse and don't feel nostalgic and as epic as the original.
R3 isn't back to RFoM roots. You have no idea what you're talking about.
Running is like R2 not RFoM, grenade throws are much weaker than RFoM, there's no invisibility in RFoM, there's no bubble or halfbubble shields in RFoM, there's no mobile shields in RFoM, RFoM has vents not ladders, there's no turrets in RFoM, there's weapon spawns in RFoM, there's only small 8v8 max matches in R3, there's no Killstreak rewards that reward already domi...

Yep. It's basically just a list of their favorite PS3 games, really has nothing to do with the NGP.
3D Dot Game Heroes I think would be a great game for a handheld. With the NGP, basically any game would work if it has two analog sticks and all the other buttons the same.
I'd rather the PSP/NGP not exist though, so we could have better quality versions of the games on home consoles. For example, Chains of Olypmus, Ghost of Sparta, Peace Walker, etc. All made for the home console, not just HD upgrades.

Lost my day 1 buy without MGS1. Yea, I wanted Peace Walker also, but definitely not at the expense of MGS1 HD. Now I'll wait on it Used for ~$25.
The only way this can make sense is if MGS4: Substance or whatever has MGS1 HD included.. and that still doesn't make much sense.

You don't need to pay for PSN+ to play online. PSN+ is a free/discounted content service, not a fee to play online.
And it's not too expensive if you: Don't pay for Live, don't buy a CoD that's going to charge you to play it. Buy a game you can play for free online like Resistance 3, Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3, etc.
If you only know how to add you may have only 5 gigs left, but it's not like you can't delete anything. Old game install data you don't play very often? Demos you haven't played in months or years? That would be an easy place to start.

Maybe they just came up with a worse name than NGP, so they can go back to NGP and people won't complain about it not being called PSP2, because "at least they didn't call it the Vita."
