Specs are the least relevant aspect of a console. Since these are minimally competent with the market period of the device (in other words, not being a Wii) the public outside the internet forums does not care.
Now, games, price, services and market availability are the factors that really lead a device to market leadership.
It won't be about games, it will be about specs. In other words, as boring as what we know about the Xbox Series X. At most we will see a tech demo and some PS4 game to show some technology.
Tomorrow will be a discussion on technical specifications. They would speak at the postponed GDC. Don't expect games or hardware images. This will be shown in the true reveal, later on.

I'm rooting for anything that makes it cost 100 less. The difference between 9.2, 12 or 13 will be completely marginal. Now a big difference in price can be critical.
Made by Nintendo?
Earthbound is a Nintendo trademark. Chrono Trigger is a Square one.
Because one is from Nintendo and the other is not. There is a certain need to rewrite the past in a way that appeals to a particular fan base.
I consider myself an exception within the gaming world. As I got older I became less reactionary and more open to innovative and different games. Between acquaintances and the forums I frequent, the trend is clearly reversed. Perhaps the most emblematic case was with Final Fantasy VII. I argued all the time how much I would prefer Final Fantasy XVI, but if I went to Square to remake it, it would be a new game, not just a layer of graphic paint in the 1997 game. And I am very happy that sh...
It just seems like a matter of time. Fully streaming over the next 5 years? I would bet not. In 2030? Probably yes.
I don't like to imagine that, but I agree. In the future all systems will be streaming. It is better for companies, and in a capitalist world that is what matters.
Almost all games are political. In one way or another they reflect the experiences, knowledge, ideologies or worldviews of the period in which they were developed and the people who produced them. There is no neutral play moment. From the capitalist method of Stardew Valley to the Skyrim civil war, and everything in between, games and politics are one.
But there is an interesting phenomenon derived from this: many gamerz refuse to see the politics of games. And some others ...
The original design of mini skirt and strapless top, did not make any sense within the context of the game. It was a cheap fanservice, and looking ridiculous today. I am very grateful that Capcom has stopped listening to reactionary gamers and has taken the path of a design that makes sense.
The article says that I love the Switch as Indian developers do. But I don't.
I don't cultivate feelings like love and hate for electronic equipment and objects in general.
But I don't.
Thanks to Square not listening to reactionary gamers, the answer is a resounding yes. Fortunately the company made a 2020 game using the 1997 game framework, being a beautiful gateway not only to the world of Final Fantasy VII, but to the Final Fantasy series as a whole. And an automatic door, by the way.
But there is a huge mass of reactionary gamerz who do not accept that Square can bring a new vision to the game. The Kotaku editor is not alone in his conservative and reactionary crusade.
I personally loved Square's approach. I want these young people with the spirit of old people to bury themselves in the 90s. I liked the 90s in the 90s. I want to live the decade of 2020 in 2020.
And who is being disrespectful to the series?
Those who make the mod and those who use it need treatment. They are sick.
