I consider it a mistake to think that for someone to win another one must necessarily lose. Would anyone say that Samsung or Apple are losing out on the cellphone market? Both are winning a lot.
In the console market the same thing can happen. Right now neither PlayStation nor Nintendo is losing. And Microsoft can join the group of winners without necessarily "beating" the PlayStation.
If public expansion plans across a large Xbox family and XCl...
I disagree. The Wii U's AAA title library was as good as Switch's, and it wasn't as successful. The Wii did not have so many great titles and was successful.
I continue with the same argument: everything is a combination of factors.
I believe there is a lot of objectivity when it comes to business. Being the winner of a console generation doesn't mean that other competitors have lost, they simply may have earned less. The only subjective aspect is to treat as art and personal tastes, but then all life loses any objectivity.
That said, it does not mean that there are no situations of clear defeat. Dreamcast, Wii U and PlayStation Vita are clear cases that left more sequels than benefits.

This is essential, but it is an incomplete explanation.
The console market is, in my view, a combination of quality software, proprietary software, hardware capacity, services, advertising, and price. Whoever best combines all these characteristics wins the market.
Quality software both PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U had.
Exclusive software was more present on PlayStation 4 and Wii U.
Hardware capacity the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ...
Rayman Legends for me is the winner.
The article is very short. I don't imagine Capcom didn't see what modder did. What needs clarifying is the loss to synchronize clocks.
Well noted. A really poor article.
Nintendo and its fans have an aversion to things they can't talk about that was created by them. Achievements were a great creation.
What Nintendo is waiting for is the opportunity to insert a system just like the others but with something different. So fans will feel that they have received something special and can boast about the difference.
The article makes some considerable mistakes. What struck me most was the claim that the NES MAX control had an analog. Big mistake. The control had in place of the traditional d-pad cross a circle, but it was still simply a d-pad.
Under this logic the Neo Geo CD also had an analog, which is also a lie.
Stop liking what I hate!

I'm very happy that Sqaure has taken the path of reimagining the game rather than simply spraying the old version.
A lot of people have a nostalgic attachment to the old game because it brings a huge amount of sensation: first jrpg, a childhood or adolescence that doesn't come back, a quieter life time, etc. That is: nostalgia.
Just like Capcom did with Resident Evil 2, Square is bringing the game to 2020. And I personally want to live 2020 and no...
I hope that guy keeps this opinion when Switch 2 arrives.
Yeah, i'll give you that.
Is any game for everybody?
Let's put it in perspective: Switch is the sucessor of both Wii U and 3DS.
Nintendo is expanding its base looking that way? Because it's easy to look at Wii U low sales and compare them to Switch's. But where is 3ds sales and user base?
The hype and hyperbole that comes with all Nintendo platform exclusive ...
Is different. We cannot treat different things the same or the same things differently.
A lone developer who had a big hit and made millions can devote himself to a game for a long time for free. The next generations of his family are guaranteed income.
Now a large studio, with a huge project involving dozens of people and having to pay the salaries of hundreds of employees, often cannot afford to devote human and material resources to something that does...
This kind of behavior on gaming sites is so 2010. This fashion has passed friend.
Phil was there at the launch of the Xbox One as well.
