This looks fantastic. Glad Nintendo is giving us what we want...finally.
Your thinking of Kinect Star Wars, Rise Of Nightmares is scheduled for a September 6th release, Gunstringer is set for September 13th.
Those are two exclusives, yet this article lists remakes instead. Hopefully someday Kinect games will get a little more respect, as Gunstringer and Rise Of Nightmares looks to offer a complete gameplay experience.
Clearly you don't use XBL then, because everyone communicates with headsets there. Cords I think was reference to USB or high end gaming headsets like Turtle Beaches. You have to actually plug those into the game console itself.
I can also vouch for the suspect voice chat quality on PSN, sometimes when you do run into people with headsets it's hard to understand them, they can sound like a drive through McDonald's guy.
This takes me back for sure. I was kind of young at the time, but I loved Super Mario World. Though I have to say in 1992-1994 it was definitely cooler to own a Sega Genesis.
Everyone had a SNES, but people wanted that Genesis because of Mortal Kombat having blood and because of Sonic The Hedgehog. Still good times though.
I read past comments often to see who I'm talking to. If your pro Move/Wii and then say something about Kinect not doing much because you wave your hands around, I'll call you on it every time.
You'd have to say the same for Wii and Move then. You wave your hands and more around with both of those, just with Kinect you don't have to hold anything.
That was one of the best reply's I've ever seen on N4G. Well said, so I gave you bubbles!
It seems to me that PS3 owners troll Xbox 360 articles and try to defend their own personal console choice to the death. I was in an article earlier where someone with 5 or 6 bubbles actually said if anyone wanted BC on a PS3 they were retarded.
Not sure how or why the real trolls have tons of bubbles, while sane, intelligent people usually have much, much less....
This is my only account, I realize there are trolls here, but I also am intelligent enough to see how this place works. If your pro Microsoft you get bubbled down. It's pretty obvious.
You are so oblivious to any sort of real world ethics, I didn't feel the need to really elaborate any further.
Sony promised the world with the PS3 and didn't really deliver, the things I bought one for, which was OS, extra USB ports, Backwards compatibility are no...
@TheObserver
You said it best, your a fanboy. Not much more to say other then that.
"Besides, only the original Phat PS3s have this feature which have been phased out. Late buyers complaining about it is rather retarded."
Your argument for people being upset over lack of backwards compatibility is they are "retarded"?
I had Linux installed on my PS3 since day one, I was rather upset when they disabled the feature, ...
This is essentially a $50 Kinect though. At least at the current prices. I'd suspect the Arcade drops to $149-$179 as well by November. Just in time for the holiday rush.
@Kingdoms
Sounds like wishful thinking on your part. Kinect and the Xbox 360 are getting price cuts this year. We might not see them till November everywhere, but expect huge deals like this and the 5 game bundle deal a lot. I'd expect Amazon to start offering $50 cards as well soon.
Shaping up to look like a $99 Kinect to me. Which would sell absolutely like crazy.
No, rollbacks are price cuts. If it was for a limited time the ad would say so. I'd expect similar cuts soon from every store.
I think the one week boost Sony got was more then enough for Microsoft to respond, now we'll be back to square one. Price cuts pretty much negate each other.
I boycotted Madden since they acquired the NFL license, but Madden 12 played tight on XBL with the demo. Also, EA seems to extend their contract over and over so this is the first Madden game I've bought since 2005. I used to buy Madden and the NFL 2K games, but when EA started being pricks I stopped. I miss NFL games though, so I pre ordered this new one.
Wait, wait, wait...Sony has good business ethics and MS doesn't? While your complaining about Microsoft they were selling all their consoles at a loss in the beginning as well. They weren't charging people $599, they at least offered people a chance at next gen gaming at a cheaper price. Millions of people got their first taste of a true next gen experience thanks to MS.
They charge for a premium online service. Do you pay for cable TV or Satellite? You realize you ca...
It's just an arcade game. It's not a full game. Arcade games are shorter and take far less time to complete/get sick of.
They need new content to keep people interested and best of all, it's totally optional! Nobody is forced to buy it, but at $2, who would really complain?
I don't usually stick up for trolls, but there seems to be some hypocrisy in what your saying. Fruit Ninja Kinect is a short arcade game that benefits from early DLC. It's not like it's a full fledged game that is releasing DLC 3 weeks later. This is a simple arcade title that could use some new flavor.
Plus it's only $2, who can argue with that price really? Honestly they could have released the game for $15 but they didn't.
I think peop...
@infamousXX87XX
I tend to disagree. I mean pay $199 for a 4 gig console and no games or put out the extra $100 and get a 250 gig HDD and 5 games. If your new to the Xbox 360 you will definitely be wanting to get a game anyway, that takes the price up by itself. So the best value would be this.
I'm guessing we'll see some Kinect/Xbox 360 bundles like this as well. Would be super easy to bundle Kinect with Joy Ride, Sports ect..
That's an amazing deal! Too bad I literally own all five of those games and have since they were brand new. Microsoft are great strategists. Since those were all published by Microsoft, it costs them nothing to add those games in.
Great deal for someone looking to just get an Xbox 360, cant complain about those games that's for sure.
I actually owned 4 out of the 10. They may look odd now, but they were pretty cutting edge back then. Like how in the late 70's and early 80's everything had wood paneling on it.
It's got more pre orders then Battlefield 3!
This year's Madden is actually looking pretty solid, the demo sold me.
