The fact that you cannot remove the battery is what might be a deal breaker for me. What happens if the battery goes bad? I've had a couple of PS3 controllers that wouldn't hold a charge anymore, sometimes batteries are just defective or have a bad cell. The fact that you spend $250 on something and can never change the battery is a bit disappointing.
The memory card issue is also a problem, why does Sony allow standard HDD on PS3 but uses less known for this device?...
Why are we getting so many reviews in today? the game is still five full days away from release. Seems like it's getting amazing scores, but that was to be expected. I'm not one to base anything off scores, but there are a few big reviewers that I am waiting to see.
This game is definitely going to score in the 90's on Metacritic and of course is going to have sales to back it up as well.
Why do people try to compare Gears to Uncharted though? Two really different IP's aimed at really different audiences IMHO. The original Uncharted didn't even have an online component and one could argue that Gears strongest selling point is it's amazing online play.
I don't see a overabundance of hype for Battlefield 3. I see some people excited for it on forums and things like that, but people I know in real life aren't actually interested. Maybe it's because there hasn't been any real commercials or anything? I'm not sure, but I do know it will probably sell well, but not GTA 4, COD well.

Not everybody likes PC gaming. I tried it and it definitely wasn't my thing. I like doing some competitive gaming and things like that and consoles are just better for that IMHO. I am not into mouse and keyboard controls and why would I want to use a small monitor when I have a brand new big screen HDTV?
Yes I realize you can hook up those to computers, but my computer is in my room and my TV is in my living room.

How is it a surprise exactly? The game has been hyped and people that had played it said it was a blast. The demo left a grin on my face for hours and Twisted Pixel has done great work on every game they have released.
To top it off, $40 for the game, with a free code for Fruit Ninja Kinect, which is $10 by itself, also free DLC for Gunstringer.
I expected high 8's and higher for it, glad it's getting the scores it deserves.
I liked GTA4, but was I the only one that got bored with it and gave it up before you beat the game? I feel like I put a lot of time into the game and got hardly any Gamerscore at all, plus some of the races to further the plot were difficult to win....
Those are good numbers though, it's definitely been a fantastic franchise.
The only ones I'm looking forward to on that list are Mass Effect 3 and Halo 4. Metal gear Solid Rising looks promising, but I'd like to actually see something more on the game.

As nostalgic as this game sounds, it comes out at the worst possible time. I already have 5 games pre-ordered for around about the same time, give or take a week or two.
Don't mean to rain on your parade...or maybe I do, but the average person who might buy a 4 gig Xbox 360 probably wont even use XBL. Anyhow, you can get XBL for about half of what you listed, of course the first month is free anyhow.
Are people still using Blu Ray as an excuse to own a PS3 over an Xbox 360? Personally I never even use my PS3 for Blu Ray movies or anything, I got a separate higher end player.

Some of these things should have been fixed before the game even launched. I love Reach, but the Armor lock is freaking insanely annoying at times. Which is why I've limited how often I go back to Reach. Hopefully this is what can bring me back to the game.
I was really hoping to get back into the game before Halo Anniversary comes out.
This is a really interesting game. I actually really enjoyed it. It seems to be getting scores from great to decent to bad though. Kind of all over the place. I think people aren't really sure on how to score it properly.
Definitely worth playing if you have a Kinect.
It's much more then a on rails shooter, there are platforming levels, loads of unlocks and free DLC all for a budget $40.
I think N4G regulars are just surprised to see a solid influx of quality, core games. No need to be shocked though, we were promised these types of games all along.
People have to keep in mind that Kinect is still less then a year old. We are seeing more and more "core" titles pop up. I only bought 3 Kinect titles last year, already doubled that this year if you count Kinect Sports 2 and Dance Central 2.
Gunstringer is unique and a lot of fun, anyone with Kinect should try it out.
This is a great game, Twisted Pixel has really gone all out. I don't see how the game would work with anything else honestly.
Well that's an easy question to answer! Just kidding, I'm not touching this one. These comparisons are lame, I realize COD is the top dog as far as FPS games go, but that doesn't mean you have to compare every single one that comes to the market to it.
