I doubt this is true. It's especially not true that they would release games on Blu Ray. The reason is because they have like 60 million consoles out there that don't use Blu Ray, so they'd have to make both a Blu Ray and DVD format game.
I just don't see it viable for MS at this time.
Actually a good portion of 343i are people that worked on the original Halo. Frank has always been a big part of the Halo franchise.
There doesn't have to be hate when it comes to Kinect. I've spent a good portion of the day with the game and it's a lot of fun, not perfect but a very good start.

I don't mind if they put a new spin on the Halo lore. I think considering a lot at 343i are ex Bungie, they wont do anything too drastic though.
I understand the reasoning for this, because I see a huge influx of people on Modern Warfare 2 now in preparation for Modern Warfare 3.
The only issue is, Bad Company games don't play like the Battlefield games at all, so it's not like you can prep for Battlefield 3 by playing Bad Company 2.
Hey troll, I said it's good to see this game getting solid reviews, which it has been. I expected average to good reviews and that's what it has been getting. You have to crack a few eggs before you can make an omelet.
I don't see why people hate on Kinect so much here, people say it will fail, it hasn't. People said it cant do anything not on rails, this game isn't on rails. People claim Kinect cant do "core" whatever that is, yet this is a horr...
Nice to see this title get some solid reviews. I am pretty excited to pick it up tomorrow.
This is the first game of what I hope is a trend for Kinect. So I was expecting some flaws, glad it seems to be going over pretty well.
This game sort of reminds me of a cross between House Of The Dead and Condemned, which are both very good things.
Something here doesn't really add up. Sony has this which was dated 2009, but Nintendo has been working on the Wii U since 2008, probably had some prototypes long before that point even.
Not sure what to make of this, but it's obvious Nintendo would have done their homework. I don't see this affecting Nintendo in any way with the release of the Wii U.
Again, these videos always have idiots who flail about and get out of range of the sensors. I'm looking forward to the game, this is what I'm hoping is a first step towards more Kinect titles like this.
Pretty low amount of votes, if anything you can go by pre orders, which has MW3 firmly ahead of BF3 on PS3.
Not saying it will be a better game or anything, but I find some of these articles a bit foolish and purely intended to start arguments.

This is the first in what I hope in a long line of games that offer an actual gaming experience. Dance, fitness games will always have a place with Kinect, as it just makes the most sense, but it's games like Rise Of Nightmares, Ryse, Draco, Steel Battalion, Forza 4 and Gunstringer that I'm most looking forward too.

The main thing I notice from video's of random people playing the Kinect is that they never stay within the range to accurately read your movements. Any controller, motion or otherwise isn't going to work properly if your out of range.
Why use random people who don't actually own nor use the device properly be the judge for all of us?

Don't mean to state the obvious, but Rise Of Nightmares isn't on "rails" as you say. We also don't know much about anything else, but after playing Gunstringers Demo, I have to say, even on partial rails, its better and fresher then 99% of the other games out today.

Well I probably wont get Battlefield 3 this year, but I'll still get it on the Xbox 360. Two disks don't both me. One of the main reasons to get it on the 360 is party chat, I mean Battlefield games are known for having a lackluster voice chat system, I think it's 4 person squad based chat again, so being in a party chat where I can communicate with my teammates will be a huge advantage for me.
To each their own though, I'm sure it will do fine across the boa...

Looks absolutely NOTHING like COD4. I usually don't go back and play COD4 anymore, mainly because the graphics are so outdated.
People are more dramatic here then on Soup Opera's. To me personally Uncharted 3 doesn't look a step up over Uncharted 2's graphics, same with some other high profile games, but you don't see people flipping out over it do you?

No it's not debatable, I played through the game at night, in the dark. It worked fine. You just have to make sure you have enough room to actually play the game properly.
Rise Of Nightmares needs a bit more space then most Kinect games, but other then that it was a great first "core" attempt.
