I wish people.will.stop.asking these questions. Wii to.wii u is next Gen for Nintendo. We will.see a leap.for next Gen consoles, and it will be significant. Perhaps not to PC gamers but definitely console only gamers. I have seen games played on thepc and I only wish current Gen systems could look the way those games look. You are obviously a tool. This Gen as been the worse when it comes to people that say they like playing video games. You can't buy every single Sony exclusive because you are not.going to like all of them. That person might like this genre and the other might like that genre. Heavy Rain is one of the best Sony exclusive this Gen, but not everyone likes it.
It actually does matter because of competition. Competition is suppose to bring quality and variety. Only Sony seems to understand this. Halo 1 will always be the best Halo. Halo 4 wasn't bad, don't get me wrong. It just seems to be lacking something that I just can't put my hands on. I am just curious: does anyone else think that resistance 3 has fantastic visuals? I know they are talking about 2012 games here, but I kind of felt that the game delivered in the graphics department. The list just reminded me of games that are often forgotten when graphics categories are brought. For instance, I can't recall anyone putting up a game like la noire when it came to the graphics category last year.
Are you speaking of strictly playing games online, or are you speaking of using the psn store? I just don't understand what you mean when you say " it's not as easy or enjoyable to use." What does that mean? When you say "prefer the games," are you talking about multiplats or exclusives?
If you think about it, the ps1 to ps2 was a big upgrade. Of course the same can be said for the ps2 to ps3. I expect the ps3 to ps4 to be significant as well. The only thing left is to provide new and exciting ways to play games.
Your logic is flawed because graphics are one of the most important aspect of videogames. It is what ms and Sony will use to grab consumers at first. Max Payne 3 and Final Fantasy 13-2 are both game of the year worthy. I haven't played Journey nor Far Cry 3 yet. Halo 4 is a decent game but I don't consider it to be game of the year material.

I guess. It was good, but wasn't great. It didn't feel fresh enough. I felt like I have done it a million times. Also, Master chiefs return felt forced and the game really didnt last that long.

I would pay that much as well if it had the games and tech to back it up. I am guessing that these consoles are going to be around for a while, so it would be best that they are of high quality to be able to last. However, I would really only like to pay $500.
I am sorry, but I have yet to see a 360 exclusive that looks better than uncharted 2 & 3, killzone 3, heavy rain, and even god of war 3. Even resistance 3 looks good, but I just don't want to go that far. 360 does have some good exclusives, but none of them come close from my perspective.
