Exclusives are meant to seperate the consoles, followed by the features. My friend that is only a 360 owner has nothing to look forward too after dead space 3. He does not want gears judgement because he is still content with 3. From now and perhaps till september, he has nothing to play. None of the multiplats coming between then interests him...

Honestly, I want new ips, not ips from this gen as launch titles. I really cant see myself playing a killzone 4 or an uncharted 4. Though it would be great to play them, it wouldnt feel like i am on a new console if i played them as launch titles. Sony should launch the ps4 with new ips from their known developers instead. I dont want Sony to go the route of ms, refurbishing existing ips. They can just bring out the killzones and uncharteds 5 years into the consoles life.
Of course the leap will be substantial. To those who think that the crytek guy meant launch games will not look better than crysis 3 does on consoles are forgetting that current consoles do not suppot dx11, but the next systems do. Expect launch games to look like crysis 3 on pc and not on consoles, which is fine. Next gen is going to be amazing for console only gamers.

Exactly! Consoles are not pcs. There is a gap between releases that give consoles time to improve over its predecessor. For console only gamers like myself, I think we will be satisfied.
Thank you, sir. Pc people always brag about this and that when they will never truly see the potiental of their machines. Whereas with the consoles, granted with time, we can see their true potiental. We've seen it with the ps3 with the likes of uncharted, god of war, and upcoming games like the last of us and beyond. Even multiplats like ff 13 look amazing. The nvidia guy even said that when it comes to exclusives, with the rumored specs, the ps4 will blow pcs away with its exclusives....

The vita definitely needs new tips, not these so called system sellers. Why have a vita if that is all you are going to get. The vita needs new ips plain and simple. To be honest, I really don't know how they manage to sell so many psps when they did not support it right. They can sell the vita but they must support it vigorously.

It seems to me that most people want these consoles to be weak for some reason. Do you guys really want those who are anticipating the systems to be disappointed? We should all want the same thing: for both systems to deliver to the core gamers.
The reason console gamers want the best tech possible is because most console owners cant afford pcs that we constantly have to keep upgrading. That is why it is disappointing when you hear pc people talk about their graphics card and how consoles cant keep up. Its true. But can we at least hope that we will have a significant upgrade granted that no one knows what the specs are truly capable of? We get it, pcs will always be ahead of consoles.

Agreed, skyrim is pretty generic. The Witcher 2 is one of the best rpgs this generation of consoles.
