He is talking about crysis 3 on pc and not on consoles for clarification purpose.
When he says most next-gen launch games wont be that much different looking from crysis 3, is he talking about the pc version, or the console version? Quite frankly, judging by the beta, crysis 3 does not look that good.
Someone told me that the teraflop thing isnt true. Both systems will have at least 3 teraflops according to what this person told me.
Why do people make such comments: "microsoft beat them out of the gate last time and Sony benefited from extra time by beefing up their console." Tell me, how could they beef up an already completed console? Did you even know why they delayed the ps3? The ps4 and the vita are 2 different things. I dont see the announcement as premature. These article needs a title change. If the ps4 was backwards compatible, would it still be premature?
People are actually buying this game? Gears of war 3 just came out not so long ago. It just feels like cash grab to me.

The leap might not be massive at first, but we will see the potiental of the machines with exclusives as the gen progresses. Some tech guy even said this, especially with the ps4. I think he said that the rumored specs of the ps4 can blow pcs away when it comes to exlusive games because of how developers can take full advantage of these specifications. We should still expect multiplats to deliver. I think the guy developed fxaa or something like that. So, no, I am not going to mark your words...
The thing is that there will be a leap, but no one is expecting the avatar like graphics. We expect multiplats like the Witcher 3 to amaze us and the exclusives to blow our minds away. We will see. Pc gamers have come to love their ultra settings, forgetting that consoles call the shots when it comes to multiplats. You will never be able to see the true potential of your expensive pc.

I really hate when people quote sony about letting Microsoft make the first move. You must be an idiot to believe something like that. These consoles have been in development for years people. Sony just can't say "hey, microsoft came out with these specs, lets go and change some of our specs to be that much better than microsoft's and still make it in time for release in the next few months." Its just pr stuff, I dont even know why people quote that crap.

I agree, they dont look quite polished from this angle. Its still months from release though, so I know naughty dog will flesh things out. It still looks pretty good though.
Its not that the ai is bad, its just that those things cant see. I think they said that they can only see with sound. The sound creates images for them. Like a bat, for example.
