The 360 version had slowdown for me but the PS3 version didn't.
My main complaint was that it is a bit slow turning the camera when you are manipulating objects with the force grab. So, it's easy to get shot a bunch as you're trying to grab something and throw it at guys. I think the whole grab system is really good, but could be a bit faster overall.
Most people (myself included) already have 360s. Mine's a launch model.
I mean there have been so many 360 models released that I think it's a bit unrealistic to think that there's going to be a huge surge in sales for a three year old system.
Plus you can always upgrade the HDD size in the 360 for much less than it would cost to buy a new system.
Indigo Prophecy had exploration elements and contextual based gameplay in addition to QTEs, so I assume this will be no different. It's not like the whole game is going to be one long cinematic with QTEs.
and it didn't seem sold out to me. Though, I haven't looked recently.
P.S. - I also don't live in Tokyo so I dunno for sure.
I routinely see Japanese people buy consoles when I'm in the big electronic store chains like Yodobashi / Bic Camera.
They failed to take into account the slaying that occurred a few days before. Plus the weather looks nasty.
My guess is it will sell just fine in Japan (especially in bundle form). The Japanese PSN store and Mainichi Issho game feature a lot of advertisement for the game.
I'll be heading to Tokyo in a few weeks. Too bad I missed the launch in Japan.
...the limited edition at my mall's GameStop...pre-ordered it. Need to pick up another DualShock too while I'm at it.
Sadly my GameGtop doesn't have a launch event so I have to wait till tomorrow.
:(:(:(:(:(:(:(
I WANT IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!
the PS3 MGS4 bundle units of all varieties are being gobbled up around the globe, my guess is yes. But, I don't really believe it's any one game that sells a system these days.
Probably a combination of many games in the library plus a lower price for the console. I mean I truthfully don't think I would have purchased any of the three next-gen systems just to play one of the games available on it.
That would mean that that game would have had to have been worth 300...
I've been totally looking forward to this since they first announced it and I saw the vids online.
Hopefully there'll be something on it at this year's E3.
Yay for mature horror games on Wii!!!
...considering it's already being sold on the Japanese PSN store and it was a playstation game to begin with.
Doubtful that it will come to XBLA.
...is that it still has cut scenes. There are still sections of the game where you cannot move forward and effectively have to sit and watch something unfold in the real-world environment (like when the submarine gets blown up for example).
However, these are still cut scenes cause you can't control your character or affect the outcome of the events in anyway (cept for controlling the camera angle by moving the first person view around).
Since Kojima's cut scenes a...
and it's basically like running outside cause you just do it in place.
I think Wii Fit is good cause it takes you through different strength exercises. Sure you may not completely transform you body, but I for one wouldn't know how to do these exercises without the on-screen guide.
I've already lost 3 lbs with Wii fit. I use it everyday in conjunction with my exercise.
Demo is up.
Sorry if this is old news.
showing what Qore actually is. I mean I don't know if I want to buy it cause I don't know exactly what it is. Is it just video adverts or is it exclusive demos?
Has anybody gotten it and liked it?
How do you jump?
Which will be like an hour long or more will have a short load screen (A few minutes). This is so the subsequent movies and game play will be seamless.
With women playing DS games. I don't see any problems with the commercials. The stars obviously want to do it cause they get paid bucket-loads of money.
Also, they have some behind-the-scene interviews with the stars on the Nintendo Channel (Underwood & Tyler). While the Underwood one sorta seems obligatory, Tyler at least talks about playing the NES as a kid and enjoying Nintendo games.
So I think it's sorta genuine that at least some of them actually enjoy N...
Making a big deal about the things they weren't allowed to mention. Guess what, if they wait a week, every outlet can review the game and say whatever they want.
These restrictions were placed for reviewing the game early. Therefore, these sites felt they'd rather review the game and not mention certain things if they got to do it early.
That points out issues some gamers might have a problem with but regards the overall package as being totally worth it. Instead of going the route of certain media outlets and dinging the score down because they personally didn't like certain aspects.
the open zone...since you're obviously not a fan of games and can devine the future.
Shooting somebody in the head at point blank range seems pretty graphic for a T rated game.
