Why does it have to cost you to change your name? I don't understand this thinking from the younger generation. Changing your name should be something you can do for free. Microsoft have infiltrated everyones mind to think you have to pay to breath another breath.
Maybe so people will see these "extras" there that will unlock a new part of your system if you just buy the needed add on. It's actually a great marketing move. Let end users see enough to make them think they are missing out on something they may actually like so that they go buy the camera.

Yep, they may even be able to knock out a quick "preview" clip of their new work by launch. If the other reports of the speed at which devs can get things going on PS4 have been accurate, well, they still have two months. And whats to say they haven't already started on some of the stuff already on the PS3 kits (kind of like Quantic Dreams did)
Same here. Now I have purchased some cheapie (under $10) download games, but not for my AAA stuff. No way. Disc only for those.
Switching discs takes all of about 2 seconds. How lazy can you be?
It probably takes you longer to find the game in a menu list than actually switching a disc. Good grief.

These developers who are being "forced" (by threat of not allowing their game on the MS console) should tell MS to go jump off a bridge. I'm sure someone will come along and do it. But the truth of the matter is that MS and Sony both do this (Nintendo too). They all hold back certain amounts of stock, especially when releasing right before the holidays. They want to have systems there when the "Black Friday Frenzy" begins.
I'm sorry but I've seen some pure garbage out of Samsung over the last few years. I'm not down on their brand overall, but I really would not purchase a TV or flat panel monitor from them.
It did. And in COD Black OPs on PS3 you could record your video in game and upload the clip to youtube directly within the game menu.

This was known since E3 (or right after). In fact, it was stated by one of the devs that it was using their PS3 engine/tools ported to PS4 and didn't use any of the advanced PS4 tools, only used 4GB ram, etc. They just pumped up the graphics courtesy of the PS4's GPU.

That was exactly what I was thinking... IF they can get the headset cost to the $100 range, then yes. It would be cool in FPS's too. Imagine peering around a corner to see if it's clear to move on.

Have you ever noticed how as the year goes on and it starts getting closer to time for their next COD game to come out that each new patch seems to make the game worse and less tolerable? Enough to make you just "forget it" and move on to the next one?
I can tell you there is surely no "host advantage". I have a 50MB down 5MB up connection and I ALWAYS get stuck being the host. It ALWAYS gives the advantage to the opposite team. When I am host it is nothing but a struggle for me and my team. I can unload whole guns into someone point blank and not kill them, and then they can fire once at me and drop me dead. Well these are just the US numbers, so to see PS4 ahead of X1 is telling. I wish we could see the same numbers from around the world and see how they compare.
