Halo's not that bad. The first one, personally, was my favorite with a bit of the third one. But, definitely, the first one is the best, imo.
If the game's that bad, I'm going to beat myself with a sack full of stale bread rolls.
I hope they don't check IP's... lol.
Hmm... now I'm getting incentives to try this thing out.
I wonder how it will put up against the other racers coming this year.
If this game is that good, then it sure as hell worth getting. Never looked bad, but I was speculating.
I would have thought that Bathesda would have done or complained something with regards to the mediocre graphics. The game sounds fun... but how it looks is totally something else.
Entertaining review. It actually did better than what I thought it would. I'm surprised that the author actually liked it. Might rent this one and give it a go... especially if it's a lot like Kill Bill...
will never lose it's threshold in the MMO market. Just when players begin to experience sheer boredom, Blizzard releases a patch or an expansion that re-inspires players to stay latched on. Look at Cataclysm, for example. New classes; new races; and new areas. Wow isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
So true in so many ways. There are so many great MMO's out there that have not been recognized because of the overcasting shadow that WoW has on everything else. Games like LOTRO being one of them (although the interface is uglier than Carrot Top).
Care to venture on some of those issues? Current political climate? You mean the stagnant political ideals that are mentioned and not practiced? Interesting perspective.
Apparently you didn't read the article otherwise you would have seen where the author was coming from. Either that, or you're not adept in understanding what you read. The author talks about "moderation." He doesn't say talk about Obama being a jerk-off for wanting to control "gaming" or any other form of entertainment.
Maybe you should try reading the article in its entirety rather than trying to guess what it's about. Your entire point isn't relevant to the ...
But, realistically, kids aren't studying and not doing their homework because of gaming. That's the point the writer was making, I believe. Kids nowadays are less attentive to studies because of the lack of support given to them both in and out of homes. Saying that gaming is the reason that the youths of today are so intellectually stagnant is just making an excuse for the poor school system that this country has. The majority of us, who are over the age of 20, have been playing games throug...
We're still waiting on the crap he promised on. I mean, he's not doing a bad job... but he isn't doing nothing extraordinary either.
More and more people join the bandwagon in attacking gaming simply because they feel its a violent or non-educating means of expression/entertainment. Without fully understanding or studying the "good" that gaming can contribute to, people like the president - who continue to bash the "Xbox" - don't care to look at studies to see how great, actually, gaming can be for people. Like the author said, studies showed that violent games aren't the most popular. Hold that, Obama....
As long as Blizzard keeps delivering the way they are, it's going to be hard to bring their numbers down or to even match it. They know how to "treat" their consumers.
Damn MMO's! Too many good ones at one time!
I saw Stevie Wonder and Elton John as artists there... I wonder what songs you can rock out to with those bastards.
Anyone expecting this iteration of Guitar Hero 5 to do bad must have brother and sister for parents. With the list of artists like Johnny Cash, that alone is enough to make the game rock. Now, had the game had Conway Twitty, I would have personally gone to Activision and punch every single employee there in the crotch area.
Because it wasn't the sandwich press he thought it would be?
