it most certainly does:

@snipes101: "Anyone played Dust or Rayman Origins on a really nice flat screen?"
they look brilliant, but theyre not cell shaded so i dont really see why you mentioned them.
i remember back before borderlands' release there was a fair bit of talk about the graphical change, and i personally was glad they did it. looks much better IMO. it helped that the game is one of the best this generation too, IMO of course.
my list would be:
1-5: games that arent watered down ports of console games and are new franchises that are made for a portable experience. if its got a name like "game x Vita" then just go ahead and scrap it. no vita versions of existing games please.
means nothing. im sure the PS3 "sold out" of presales quicker than the wii as well, but which of those is 20m+ sales in front of the other?
N4PS3G really is hurting with the amount of love the Wii U is getting from the general public.
i would preorder but i live in australia, so the 100 people who will buy one this year wont really need to preorder lol.
in reality, pre-order numbers mean next to nothing. if they were pre-sales wher...
as long as there is more than 1 console on the market there will be exclusives.
i do find it funny though that some people carry on about how mario/uncharted/halo will NEVER be on another console - people said the same about sonic the hedgehog for 10+ years, now sonics on every console/phone/tablet thats available. remember, sega werent always just a software maker. the same can happen to sony, microsoft or nintendo.
in fact, it would probably make a whole l...
far out this annoys me - "A/V" is not a single output cable. "A/V cable" stands for Audio/Video Cable, and is a group that contains all cables that transmit audio/video.
this group includes but is not limited to the following types of A/V cables:
Composite
Component
HDMI
VGA
DVI
saying a console doesnt come with an "AV cable" doesnt mean it ships without a Composite cable (which on...
For a bit of perspective, some of the other recent Aussie launch prices:
Wii - $399
360 - $649
PS3 - $999
Vita - $349
The wii u is a steal in Australia, even if it might not look like it to Americans who always have cheaper consoles. Look at the 360/ps3 prices if you don't believe me.
Too expensive? Here in Australia it is just under 1/3 of the ps3 launch price, or half of the 360s launch price. It's cheaper than the vita and ps3 are today.
If that's too expensive then what does it make every other console in history?
Here in Australia the wii u is easily the cheapest console at launch that I can remember.
The wii u is $350.
The ps3 was $1000
The 360 was $650
The vita was $350
The wii was $399
$350 is an absolute steal. I was intending on waiting a bit after launch before buying but at $350 there's no real need. Well done Nintendo, the wii u already has a great chance of replicating the wiis success with this price.
not really true.
i loved MGS/MGS2/MGS3, convoluted story and plot holes included, yet absolutely detest MGS4. easily the worst game in the series, also the shortest when you take out the 11 hours of cutscenes. i voiced my dislike for MGS4 and was constantly just called a 360 fanboy because of that, despite the fact that i just paid AU$100 for MGS4 on my PS3. i simply thought the game was bad.
im sure there are thousands upon thousands of others like me that l...
since youre being a child and blocking me:
"Didn't you comment not to long ago about remote play was never used on anything? Wait thats right the PSP could play all PSOne games over remote play."
remote play is not the same as what the wii U does. remote play is playing the PS3 via the PSP/PSV. remote play is not using the PSP/PSV as an ALTERNATIVE controller for a PS3 game and having it display a different screen. noone ever said that sony have...
It is indeed remote play, confirmed via a follow up tweet: https://mobile.twitter.com/...
Not really that exciting since the only time remote play was even remotely (pun not intended) useful was while on the same network as your ps3, and in that case you may as well play it on the ps3.
i was going to say i dont know why people are complaining about this article, its a legitimate one from all i can see.
this confirms theres no GOW:A coming out on vita, and hence no cross-buy/cross-play. when you guys all champion the dozens of 'why xbox live isnt worth the money' articles every day, why cant an article like this be posted?
Open world actually means it will be smaller in size, since it will use procedurally generated content.
If skyrim can fit on 1 disc, this can.
Graphics looks awesome, I just hope it has the gameplay to back it up unlike mgs4 IMO.
One GOW3 dev said that no play tester could finish 3 in under 20 hours. The majority of players finished it in under 10 when it released. Take this with a grain of salt.
games in 4K for the PS4 is not happening. you can take that to the bank. at the VERY VERY VERY most there might be 1-2 sort of demo PSN style games that are essentially PS1 games in higher resolution, but you will not get a full retail 4K game next generation.
if a game can run in 4K, it can be made to look 10x better in 1080p. developers arent stupid - they know that a higher framerate + more effects means more than a higher resolution. this is why you get games that are sli...
"Right now, there are only a total of PSOne in the North American PS Vita store for download. "
i think someone accidentally a word.
one of my pet peeves is different regions and their publishing rights/deals etc. should be much easier than it is, theyre just games FFS, let them release them.
from the article: "I’m a bit iffy on this one as it does look like it has wheels, however the details and coloring all looks incomplete which may indicate that it’s just a falling structure. You can see it moving in with a swift turn so for now we will just say it’s a falling structure."
thats an APC! how can anyone call themselves an alien fan and not recognise that vehicle!? id say that one or more of the "escape" levels have you reaching the APC to esca...
4K wont be the standard resolution of TVs for 10+ years, if that.
why? because unless you have a 60"+ tv you cant even notice a difference between it and 1080p at a regular viewing distance. now lets be honest - probably less than 0.01% of people even have a 60" tv. id say 95% of people couldnt even comfortably fit a 60" tv in their living room (or bedroom for those of you younger N4Gers who live at home). that eliminates and NEED for 4k.
the o...
Releasing the brz is in line with their other DLC since it's a variant of a car that's already in the game. while they're at it they should give us some more skylines, there aren't enough.
