I don't get why anyone should be rejoicing over another system not getting a game. It's one thing to champion an exclusive for a console of choice, but it's another thing to rejoice that another console isn't get a game (there is a difference IMO), it's just petty.
In my opinion, the more gamers that get to play games the better.
The two systems offer different types of games to play. How many action type/shooter games (like God of War or Socom) have you seen on the DS. Of course I only use my DS to play pokemon and some old re released RPGs, neither of which would ever need a 2nd analog stick.
I don't know...I look at my psp and there is an awful lot of room for a second analog stick. I don't think they need to add anymore shoulder buttons though, that would be overkill b/c it would require them to make the psp thicker or make the shoulder buttons thinner, neither of which are good ideas.
Is the biggest thing that I would want (maybe even if they just released a updated version of the psp1). It probably wouldn't be that big of a deal if the use of 2 analog sticks wasn't used for every shooter game for the past 5 years. But they have been, so when you go from playing a shooter with 2 analog sticks to 1 analog stick, one is like a fish out of water.
Who finds this hard to believe?
I mean there are so many movies released every year, and there is such a larger market.
Regardless, it's pretty cool.
But I buy my consoles to play games that I like. Not to play games that 'sell well'. So every time I read Resistance 2 or LittleBigPlanet only sold x amount of copies, guess what, I don't care. I bought the game to play it, not to talk about how many copies it sells.

Bring back umbrella. Capcom, you established your franchise with umbrella and zombies. You have one game that doesn't feature umbrella and get solid success so you throw your original fans under the bus? Not cool.
Seriously, everyone forgets the select start. Don't tell me you weren't playing with a buddy who also needed 30 lives.
Is it me or has there been no buzz for this game at all. Seriously, it's due out in Q1 and I haven't seen any kind of videos on it and only limited screenshots and interviews with GearBox here and there.
I'ell be the first to say, I don't care, I love Aliens and I have high expectations for this game, and I'm even more pumped that it could be coming out way sooner than I expected.
Here's to hoping it successful.
But few things are as fun as playing a good old fashion hack n slash game or side scrolling beat em up game (i.e. X-men arcade, ninja turtles arcade, and streets of rage). They may be repetitive, but you know what, I like the repetitiveness of pounding some guys head with my fist or slicing them up with some new combo. Just good times all around.
Was it really hard for GamesRadar to say anything positive about a ps3 game without immediately throwing a quick gibe in there.
The graphics were great...'but it's brown.'
a 'particularly bleak version' of time crisis 4
Then the stuff that they try to point out about being negative are things that I basically see in every first person shooter. Really, enemies are triggered by you doing something? Really, the missions aren't innovative, instead they are ...
In your argument for making the Wii the lead platform you make a valid argument as to why developers don't make Wii the lead platform. How you ask, if these 3rd party games released for the Wii that were originally developed with the 360/ps3 as the lead console already sale so much better, what incentive is their for the company to make the Wii the lead?
These are businesses, it all about maximizing profits. So you tell me, what's better out of these 2 scenarios.

It's much easier to dumb a game down than to 'upconvert' a game. It saves developers money to make a game with 360/ps3 as the lead, then dumb it down for the Wii than it would for them to make the game for the wii, then 'spruce' it up to compete with other games developed with 360/ps3 as the lead.
And viruses/biological weapons that cause zombies instead of people with 'parasites' in them. Is that so much to ask?
I mean in Japan, the game is called Biohazard...there wasn't much of a Biohazard in RE4, just parasite infestation.
One game development director who works for Square-Enix believes that the 360 is easier to work with and hopes his next game is for the 360 platform, so I guess that translates to Square-Enix believes that 360 is easier to work with. Such a blanket statement that is a complete misrepresentation.
Watch, I can do the same thing. Hitler who led a group of Germans who didn't like Jewish people, thusly Germans don't like Jewish people.
That sentence does seem a little contradictory doesn't it? I read the sentence and all I see is "2008 didn't bring a bunch of games to psp, but it did bring a lot of games to the psp"...what does that even mean.
I mean, I've beaten that game to heck. The FFT:Advanced series has always been too kiddie for me and I hated the rules system they tried to implement. Meanwhile, I still play FFT (thanks to the updated psp port) and I've logged over 400+ hours combined of FFT for PS1 and psp, so I can say I would welcome another deep final fantasy tactics game with more job classes and another great story.
I would have liked to see characters from Final Fantasy Tactics. Maybe Ramza and Delita.
I guess you don't notice sarcasm. All eagle did was copy the same basic style and argument the guy writing the article took to define the PS3 as an 'epic fail' and applied it to the 360.
To what I man about there being a difference between championing an exclusive and rejoicing over another console not getting a game.
It is one thing for a gamer to say "yes! this game is going to be awesome, I'm so glad I get to play it on my console of choice...woohoo."
It is a completely different thing to say "yes! the rival of my console of choice is not getting a game...woohoo."
See the difference?
