Nintendo's IP's would be enough to keep them in the fight if they'd stop making such weird consoles. Even now with the Wii U they aren't exactly out of it, and that's considering what a weird ass POS the Wii U is.

I'd say just because of the influence it had on the generation that COD 4 probably deserves the top spot.
TLOU is still riding at the fore of our memories but I don't think it will have the same lasting impact as COD 4.
My personal game of the generation is either Deus Ex Human Revolution or Mass Effect 2.

Tracks. The game is missing tracks, not cars. Add a new car and you add a few new experiences, add a new track and you add so much more.
Give us track DLC Turn 10, 14 tracks is a poor showing.

I wasn't really a driving game fan until I snagged up Forza 5 free with my Xbox One. Now I fooking love it and race with pretty much every aid turned off. I still suck but whatever.

I had to do it for my 360 too, some routers are just evil and don't play well with games consoles.
Mine is working fine now that me and my friends have all done the NAT unrestricting stuff.

It still occasionally turns off party chat without telling you as it loses the connection, but for the most part it works.
Party chat, friends and achievements could all use some work. Too many clicks needed to get where I'm going.
overpriced DLC doesn't mean bad microtransactions. So what if they sell some crappy costumes.
Forza screwed it up because the microtransactions prevent you from getting important content i.e. cars in a car game. Dead Rising charging me extra for a stupid hat doesn't matter, if you want it you buy it, but you lose nothing gameplay wise by avoiding it.
All of them may have microtransactions, but only Forza has the problem ones.
Killer Instinct is free-to-play, it pretty much has to have them and I think it's well handled.
Ryse lets you buy pointless crap that slightly speeds up getting some better stuff for a mulriplayer mode that is 90% co-operative.
