People keep expecting some big leap in graphics this generation but it simply isn't going to happen.
The 360 and PS3 are all but tapped out, they've given all they can. The new consoles simply allow the progression of better graphics to continue.
Mediocre reviews is 5 or 6/10 right? haven't seen many 5 or 6's for Killer Instinct.
Titanfall has gained so many more pre-orders than Destiny since the last one of these I saw. Destiny was over 100k and Titanfall was at like 30k.
A lot of it comes from people thinking Destiny was a launch title. Three of my mates all pre-ordered their next gen consoles "with Destiny" only to be disappointed when I told them it wasn't gonna be out for ages.
Still, only time will tell.

The way he says it is what worries me. He's using some fairly solid arguments to justify some fairly iffy positions.

I don't agree with everything this guy says, but he makes some good points.
I think MS would be smart to make deals to get around the launch parity clause, at least for these early games where they're already well into development on the PS4.
Moparful99: It may be my untrained eye but other than the position of the sun being different I really don't see any difference between them.
Walker: yeah maybe on the lighting front, I'd have to play them side by side to be sure though.
Edge is one of the most respected game's magazines out there pretty much because they give out realistic reviews.
7/10 is a good score, people need to lose this idea that anything lower than an 8/10 is bad.
In what way? the cars look about even but the track detail in Forza is way higher. Nothing against GT6, great game but Forza's track looks miles better.

Kind of an unfair comparison.
Anyway you mostly notice it in the track, the cars aren't a huge leap apart by any means.
