I agree, there are too many people commenting who are been too sensitive.
What has happened is terrible, the people affected will never forget, but the rest of us have to carry on.
I have been getting a bit sick of people taking some comments too seriously.
Because I didn't agree with the delay of Motorstorm:Apocalypse, I got called a moron and idiot. Its about time some people on N4G grew up a bit.
Yep, no big deal. It seems like its only me who likes games with an install.
It only installs before the first time you play, and saves on in game loading time.
I have also had a PS3 break with blu-ray drive failure, installs help with the life of the blu-ray.
I'd rather my HDD stop working with usage, than my blu-ray drive break.
Edit: Just read a few other comments who don't mind installs.
Chucky2003,
I'm no moron by the way, and if anyones the idiot its you. A game wont make any difference to the people involved in whats happened in Japan. The survivors have more important things to do and think about.
When should Motorstorm:Apocalypse be released in Japan? It doesn't matter if its this week or in five years, the people involved will never forget.
Video has sound for me too. Must have sorted it out now.
Thats the video I'm on about. That is not a tsunami. Watched it all the way through and there is no great big wave covering the land. Buildings fall down and things are blown about due to the wind and storm. I don't see a big wave nowhere.
Having gore, blood, fatality's etc is Mortal Kombat. I hate censoring. If people (old enough) want to see death, broken bones, blood, etc, it should be their choice. If you don't like it then don't play it.
(Mature/18), censored games shouldn't be dumbed down, no-ones forcing anyone to buy and play the game.
I'm glad I live in UK, where we get the original version. I feel for you people who are in these censored countries.
I think they shouldn't ban it. If you watch the video its not a tsunami, its just tornado's/Hurricanes and storms near a coast. Its the wind blowing things about not a tsunami.
A tsunami is a great big wave caused by an Earthquake underwater. Where in this video do you see a tsunami?
I have both also, and they are good games. Enjoyed playing inFamous and Prototype, and looking forward to both sequels.
Looks like Prototype 2 has improved graphics, the first one buildings were very poor, this video shows a lot better building graphics.
Same with inFamous 2, the first had a lot of jaggies and the second has sorted those out.
@GrieverSoul.
"Well, all they did was add a "shake" in the cockpit view."
Thats all I noticed which was better, but if you pick a very fast racing car in GT5, you get the same "shaking" thats in SHIFT. They showed a car not going very quick in GT5 video, If they had shown a long straight with a fast car you would have seen the shaking in effect.
Looks good.
If you love the old Megadrive/Genesis games then the Sega Megeadrive/Genesis Ultimate Collection disc is full of great games, including: Sonic 1,2,3, Streets of Rage 1,2,3, Golden Axe 1,2,3 Altered Beast, Vectorman and many more excellent games from that era, over 40 games.
This is a good dynamic theme, brings back some good memories.
I got The Club not long after release and found it great fun. I spent many hours just playing the multi-player on it.
The other game I have on that list is Brother in Arms:Hells Highway. I got that on PC as I had just updated my graphics card and it was only £10 at the time. What I played was very good, and looked very nice, but only played about 2 hours or so (started to play other games). Will play again and finish it one day.
It depends on the game. MAG, Killzone, COD etc just wouldn't be the same in third person. Then you get Uncharted, GTA, Assassins Creed etc which wouldn't be as good in first person.
I like both first and third person views for different games, I can't really say one is better than the other.
I would like to see it with more side missions to do between the story missions (like GTA's). That was the biggest problem with Mafia 2, nothing to do other than the story.
You can't really tell how good it is by an internet video, but by those its alright. Will have to wait for the release to tell how good it looks without having to watch someones recording. You can only find out how good it really is by watching first hand on a HDTV with console next to it.
The demo might be an old one, so you can't really tell with those either. You get an idea though with demo.
I'm a PS3 fan (not fanboy), but I hope xbox360 gets many more exclusive games. I might buy one then, If they get a few more great exclusive games.
At the moment I'm not too interested in buying a 360, but in the future I could be interested, if there are enough games that I like which can't be bought for PS3 or PC.
One of my favourites too. Midnight Club:LA for PS3 is a great driving game, especially with wheel/pedals. It even has a fairly good cockpit view. The DLC wasn't too bad either. Will be watching out for Midnight Club 5 in the future.
The motorbikes felt wierd, riding them with wheel/pedals. Someone should make a handlebar/foot brake/gear shft accessory for consoles and PC's. It would be great for motorbike games.
This is no big deal at all. I don't see why people complain.
It helps save the life of your blu-ray laser, as it doesn't have to read the info every time from disc. Also its only a one time install, when you first play the game. Doesn't happen every time you play.
I'd rather have mandatory installs as in the past one of my PS3's had blu-ray failure, and installs help with the life of them.
Also if your running out of space on your HDD, its fairl...
Didn't even know this was also a game. Just thought it was a movie.
