Its obvious that if there is a price cut, there will be more sales. Especially if its a great bargain.
It may be a decade late, but it will probably be better for it.
I like COD for a quick pick up and play multi-player game, but I do prefer Battlefield/ MAG type of games where you have to think and use tactics to play right.
Killzone is another multi-player game where you need to use tactics to play right. With the game changing from search and destroy to team deathmatch to other gametypes in one match it makes you think and do whats best for your team, as you have to play each mode differently. I have run into people who just run round killing ...
@ ImHereNow,
I agree with the others that said "you are a tool", 'cause when I come to think about it "you are a tool".
I'm not a big fan of David Jaffe the man, but what he said in the article comments I do agree with. The first time I think I have agreed with him.
I nearly got ME2 for my PS3 yesterday, it was only £27 at Asda. But I saved my money for Killzone 3 instead. I will get it one day but Crysis2 and Homefront will be bought first. ME2 might have gone down in price more by the time I get to buying it, I will get it though one day.
@Reddeaddestroyer,
Its the same bloke.
The multi-player ones are normally the hardest to get, but those seem like you can easily get them by just playing a lot. If Trophies for PS3 are same, then It will take 6 months to get platinum, as one achievement is play a multi-player game 6 month after first game.
Seen you in loads of Motorstorm articles. You do seem to love this game.
I also like these games and am looking forward to this new one. As you say "LUNATICS UNITE".
I go to Tesco for my games. They are normally a lot cheaper than GAME or Gamestation, especially on release day.
Tesco did COD:BO for £25 if you got a £20 PSN top-up and MoH for £28, with the same £20 PSN offer(release day).
Asda are also quite good with prices on games that have been out a month or two. I have seen games for £25 only a few weeks after release, I got Blur and Split/Second for £25 each only two weeks after release.
It looks like they have kept the same type of gameplay from the original Deus Ex, with just a few differences. They have even got someone called Tong in the game, probably a relation to Tracer Tong in the original. I loved Dues Ex and played it through around 4 times, my all time favourite game. This is definately going to be mine when it releases, cant wait.
Don't need any reasons to buy Crysis 2. I'll be getting it anyhow, for PS3 also.
I liked MoH single player, but the multi-player wasn't so good, it got boring quite quickly.
Thats one interesting video.
If a game is full of action, good story and replayability then 6-10 hours can be enough. Its just that there are a lot of games releasing now that are only 5-7 hours long and after 1 playthrough you're done, and not interested in replaying them.
There are also games that go on too long and the story or gameplay gets boring. Longer games need to keep you interested more. Those games do need a very good story and nice gameplay.
GTA4 and the Episodes were a lot better than SR2 for me. Driving and gameplay was more realistic, graphics so much better. SR2 was "to me" a San Andreas wanna-be, but not half as good.
I still enjoyed SR2, it was a good game, but it could have been a lot better.
This does look fantastic. I have DIRT 1+2, and love them both. Will be getting this, I do love my driving games, especially when I can use my GT wheel/pedals.
At the moment I have got into playing Killzone2, online, to get ready for Killzone3.
There is also something about Just Cause2 which keeps me playing it when I don't go online. GT5 is another game I keep playing loads and still haven't got bored.
My next game buys are Killzone3 (got money saved), Crysis2 and Homefront (saving for those), they all look quite good. Also want TDU2 but haven't got the money for that yet.
Nearly forgot, got to get Mass Effe...
We're not all stupid, us Brits. I agree that some are, but compared to some other countries we're very bright.
I didn't get the first with all the bad reviews etc it got, hoping this one will be better. These type of games where you have to think and use tactics are the ones I like, more than the just run around killing games. I will get this if it turns out well with no big bugs.
