Easily the best in the series. It is such a shame that the series hit such a high point and fell from grace so hard when they released their worst entry in the franchise as their next game.
Nice artwork. One of the pics reminded me of a Necromorph and another pic reminded me of Hades from GodOW3. Anyone else see the similar style?
Out of curiosity which bosses do you still struggle with?
All bosses are easy to me now, but I find cutting off Seath's tail rather difficult.
Actually, I have problem with 4 kings, but only with certain builds.

But, your game didn't shift its tendancy if you are already in soul form when you die. Solution? Die in the Nexus and and play all levels in soul form so the game gets easier as you play as it shifts towards white tendancy. :-) Worked both ways, bro.
It was great how the features all worked together, but I wouldn't say it made the game harder. Its an opinion, but I don't feel there was much difference between the two in terms of diff...
So what if your HP was halved? It didn't make the game much harder (if you had cling ring), BUT it did make things more interesting. I enjoyed doing coop and invading in order to get full HP and freeing up a ring spot. I would say the 2 games are very much on par in terms of difficulty. Depending on which you played first the other game should seem more difficult to you.
People said Dark Souls would be a dumbed down game and it wasn't. I have full faith in the franch...
Remember when a bunch of people bought that Gran Turismo Prologue demo? Sickens me!
Trolling aside, I remember when a gaming store here in the UK was selling Smackdown: Just Bring It demo's for £5. True story. (Although it is a physical copy, but a selling of a demo non the less)
Keep at it, man. It will be quite a rewarding experience. Any part that is giving you trouble?
I am going to have to give it a try. I can't see it standing a chance if it was released last year, but this year... I don't think I can object since the year was quite disappointing. Journey was my GOTY.
Just because you can't get to grasp with the controls and make the experience somewhat good doesn't mean everyone else can't grasp them too.
Well after I said that I put in brackets "or roughly the same sort of price". Maybe a tad higher or a tad lower. I know there are things to consider, but I wouldn't get a console without it being part of a bundle. These are the 2 prices I first came up with for the console 3DS I would buy and the tablet.
3DSXL bundle (the one I would want) at £169.99

Not gonna lie I love CoD and Minecraft, but none of them are fave games so please don't put me in that crowd of gamers. My taste in games is almost as diverse as it comes. I pretty much don't touch RTS games and I generally avoid sports games, but I can enjoy them. Other than that I enjoy every other genre... Portal, Dark Souls, Uncharted, Braid, Mario, Metroid, Zelda, Batman AA and AC, God of War, Gears of War, World of Warcraft, Red Dead Redemption, Sound Shapes, Journey. That is a ...
I almost bought, but decided to hold off. I am not sold on the concept yet anyway. I know little to nothing about the game.
There are a bunch of games I like and would like to try on mobile devices / tablets.
Casual games like Cut the Rope, Touch grind, Flight Control, Temple Run etc etc are all really good time wasters. I also enjoy the fact you can get GTA, Final Fantasy, Secret of Mana, Chaos Rings, Dead Space, Mirrors Edge, Minecraft and others...
My problem is the quality of these titles (they are fun, but nothing amazingly special), but the up side is the quantity. It has a ...
I like to use my handhelds whilst lounging around the house. At this point in time I can get a Nexus7 for a cheaper price than a 3DS and PSVita (or roughly the same sort of price). I received a 3DS as a gift and the library just isn't there for me to remain interested yet. I don't want a Vita yet, but I am downloading the IGC games for Vita because I plan to get one. Truth is I am getting a Nexus 7 first. I just think there is more software there for me and it is more than just someth...
On the surface you appear to have 1 upped Blastoise, but in reality all you have done is provided a really bad analogy. Comparing a Gun to a Game is very extreme. An actual weapon is totally different than being corrupted by a game. Not attacking you, I just think your point was flawed.
I do agree with the rest of what you said about it being down to the person. I agree 100%. Also you may want to take note that a pitchfork is not primarily a weapon and neither is a car (they...
Amazing deal. I would easily recommend PS+ to ANY new PS owner (heck to any PS owner, but new games every month for your new console for the price of 1 game is too good to pass on).
Its very clear to that the media praised the games difficulty. Generally speaking reviewers said the difficulty was harsh and fair, you died because of your mistakes, not cheap and that it made the experience rewarding. The game in the medias eyes was praised for its difficulty. No top reviewer could say negative things about the difficulty because it was fair. So if Namco listened to the media then the game will remain difficult.
As a child I played Mortal Kombat 2. I am talking pre-teen here. I had played all sort of games that were mature rated my whole life. I am pretty much the perfect example of someone who according to these idiots should have killed someone by now (I'm 25).
Yeah, I have never even had the urge to attempt to rip someones head off Sub Zero style. Its down to the individual. Games are not to blame.
No Call of Duty scene labels a gamer as a monster. End of story. Granted, I haven't read the article (yet), but the title is still stupid beyond belief.
Hardly a claim to laugh at. Even though I disagree with the claim (I too think MGS is better) I can't say I could fault someone for saying SC is the greatest stealth series. They are a very solid set of games and Chaos Theory was damn sure up there with Metal Gear and that is coming from a MGS fan.
