I don't think that they'll wait because even if they see what MS has to offer they won't have the time to react to it unless they want to release PS4 in 2015 or so. And I don't think an announcement would ruin TLou sales at all. Can't remember PS3 ruining any sales for late PS2 games especially when it's one of the most anticipated games to come.

I never said it has too sell as good as PS3 or Xbox360. I'm just saying that it doesn't sell as much anymore what could result in 360 and PS3 getting even closer in the end.
I normally do not comment on these console sale articles but I want to say that this is a really close generation if you compare it to the last one. N40%/S30%/M30% this gen. S75/M13/N12 last gen. It could get even closer since the Wii isn't selling as good as PS3 and Xbox 360 anymore.

I've replayed FFIX recently and I managed to impress 100 nobles after like 8 times trying or so. I don't say it's easy cause it's not but there are tougher challenges in the game like the ropejumping.
I wouldn't say it that drastic but you have a point there. The hype for Bioshock Infinite is already very high and with statements like that it'll go through the roof. Game press will keep a close eye on every little detail because the expectations are very high. Revievers could put any little thing they don't like into a negative and scores could suffer from that. I don't really care about review scores that much but i know some people do.

That's why I was almost 100% sure that MS would reveal the next XBox at E3 2012. It isn't even announced yet and they're running out of games already. The strong 3rd party games lineup is probably going to save MS over 2013 but I really don't see a reason for them to wait any longer with their next console.
To be fair there are all those indie games listed for PC but no PSN or XBoxLive games. And you have to see that some games are exclusive to consoles in general and not to a specific console (like Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, Tekken x Street Fighter) and therefore not available on the PC. I'm not trying to say that PC doesn't have good exclusives but that the picture doesn't do the consoles justice.

2012 wasn't the great year for gamers that most of us expected it to be. A lot of great games got delayed to 2013. Can't wait for Bioshock, TLoU, GoW:A, Beyond, Watchdogs and Sly 4.
I don't think it will. They didn't have to build the engine from scratch like they did with GoW 3.
Probably won't get better with the launch of next gen consoles from Sony and Microsoft.
Maybe it'll be PSOrbis, Omni or whatever for japan but still PS4 for the rest of the world. Like SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis was the same console. Though it wouldn't be very smart to call it different in japan if you ask me.
To be honest I never thought that a 3D SoR would work. But this looks freaking awesome. Wish they wouldn't have cancelled it.

1 disc on console (of course it's 1 disc on PS3) and 3 discs on PC? I wonder why it's 3 discs on PC. Sure it'll have higher resolution textures but does it make that much of a difference?
