I know they said they will talk more about games at E3 but I can't help but feel disappointed after tht reveal. I mean we waited so long for this reveal and they knew that at least 90% of the people who watch it would be gamers. But still they didn't show us a single game that was actually played on the stage.
That conference made me think about picking up a Wii-U as a secondary console cause I don't like the focus on that TV shenanigans.
I'll give them a second chance for E3 though. Who knows maybe they have some interessting stuff that actually is gaming related to show there.
When deciding which console I buy next I consider games as the most important factor. MS will have to market the One very good if they want all the people to understand that it isn't just for gamers. I for One am not interessted in all that TV shenanigans as long as there are no interessting games. Only game that interessted me was Quantum break but then again there we didn't see much of it yet.
Well because it actually is one.
I just hope that they'll show a lot of games at E3.
That was a really disappointing conferene. The only thing that interessted me in the whole conference was wuantum break. Too much TV talk not enough games revealed. They get a second chance at E3 though.
Same here. Do you know if twitch will have a pre show as well? If so which stream will you guys watch twitch or spike/gt?
We'll see about that in a couple of hours. I would say it'll be hard to top Sony's reveal if the conference will be only 1 hour long. But I hope they announce at least 2 new exclusive IPs and show some gameplay demos on stage.
That's a tough one. Too many great launch games confirmed. Depends on the PS4 price I guess.
^^ and specs would be nice too.
I agree. I remember playing it for hours... good times
Most dev teams keep the original data of their games for decades so that shouldn't be a problem at all.
Then you should make your statement clearer next time cause it looks like you are stating the argument that you labelled invalid in your second post yourself.
I really don't think MS will do the same mistake twice.
@Dirty: Did you really just played the "nerdy hardcore gamer doesn't have a girlfriend" card? I mean really? (talking about feeling superior to others)
By the way playing Gears, Halo and Alan Wake doesn't make you a hardcore gamer. These are top selling games that everybody knows about and most 360 owners have played.
Just to clarify I don't think that casual games are bad but MS has to offer some new things too the early adopters as wel...
I always wondered how people can determine their goty without having played the game at all. Especially with such a strong lineup like the one we have this year.
To be fair how many EA or Activision games were on the Wii? I don't think Nintendo needs third party at all but they need to change their marketing strategy. I have the feeling that Nintendo still wants to steal PS3 and 360 crowd by selling the Wii-U as a hardcore gamer console with 3rd party support which it isn't. Give up on that idea and care about the Nintendo fans by giving them 3D Mario, Kart, Party, and Zelda games. Nintendo have proven that they can survive on 1st party they j...
Even if Hulk would win (I highly doubt that) Kratos would come back and kill Bruce Banner.
Oh so you mean Hulk has actually managed to defeat a god? There is no way in hell kratos would ever be able to do that. /s
Great news. Now I just need to get a faster connection (sitting at 2Mbps/256KBps max) and I'm ready for the PS4. I think we will need at least 5Mbps for all Gaikai features to work.
I totally agree with you. I don't even understand why they did that reveal. They could've just waited for E3 where they concentrate on games and host a video after the conference for all the TV related stuff. They have to know that the people who watch their conference are gamers so show some freakin games. I don't feel like I've been watching a reveal of a next gen console at all.
I think we might need a new competitor on the market. I wish SEGA would come ba...
