"Microsoft's Vision Of A Digital Future Is Delayed, But Still Alive"
Someone kill it quick before it lays eggs.
And always on point.
You didn't get it.
I might consider getting one when they remove mandatory Kinect. I don't want to use it anyway. Depends on the games though. They announced a lot of games but I need to see more gameplay (running on actual Xbox One hardware).
It comes down to the individual preferences. I for one like the PS4 games more cause I think there is more variaty. And I like how Sony is treating indie devs so it's easy for me to pick the PS4 especially when it's less expensive.
one is for gamers, and ONE is for people that play games and watch tv.
Well until now MS wasn't even competing.
First of all we've barely seen any XBox One gameplay (A lot of trailers and pre rendered stuff). We haven't seen any footage running on Xbox One hardware as it seems they used PCs with very different hardware to show of their games.
I have One question:
Do you think it's good that MS dropped DRM? If the answer is yes than better thank the people that have complained instead of bitching about them. People will complain because there are still things to complain about.

EA introduces the online pass.
@Nafon: So do you think that people that are aware of the risks of the cyberspace are dumb. Have you watched the news lately? Facebook, Google, and pretty much every major online company stores data about you on their servers. The gouverment can get all this data if they feel like it. We don't need to give them more tools to gather information by putting an always on mic and camera in our living rooms.
I'm not saying that there will be always someone watching you. But...
No way in hell they would do that unless they want to get lit on fire by raging gamers. Even MS can't be that dumb.
@Orangejuice: I'm glad they dropped the DRM. But keep in mind that they did a U-turn just before they reached the cliff to save their own butt. What I mean is they had to change it or the XBox One would've probably flopped. They tried to screw the gamers for money but this time it didn't work out. They'll keep trying though. That's just how Microsoft is. So don't give them too much credit for ditching their own bs.
Still very good news. Now we're t...
This is great news. Welcome back to common sense MS. This proves that we as consumers have the power to affect companies when we unite and let our voices be heard. It makes all those fanboys that defended these policies look even more dumb. Here is how you do it next time:
1. A company (let's call it Microsoft) announces policies to screw you.
2. You realize that you don't want to get screwed by the company mentioned above.
And here comes the ...
"Ps3/Xbox 360/PC/Xbox One = 30fps,
Ps4 = 60fps"
You can't say PC = 30fps cause it depends on the hardware you have in the PC. It may run at a way higher framerate on a high end PC.
I think Kojima is one of the most perfectionistic people in the game industry. If he thinks MGS V has to be open world I would just trust him.
I really like that this Trailer is in 60 fps. How come you still can't upload 60fps videos on youtube?
Fable (2004) In my opinion.
I'm pretty sure that multiplats will look better on PS4 from day one. That's pretty much a given considering the PS4 is more powerful and easier to develop for.
That's maily because it gives you the option to go wherever you want at any time. It's hard to give players so much power without giving them the option to mess up the whole game. For example you could destroy a building that is important for the story later on. I'm not saying it is impossible for devs to prevent such problems but it results in a lot more work for them.
He is not disrespecting gamers at all. He is just disrespecting Microsoft. Considering The Xbox One will be the only platform where indies can not self publish their games it doesn't surprise me.
