Well...I just finished pre-ordering my Mario Kart 8 Wii U Bundle and will be picking it up on May 30th, and I am not a current Wii U owner, so technically I have just boosted Nintendo's Wii U Sales by +1, does that count as a sale boost for Nintendo? :D
Well, we weren't really getting screwed on prices before February 2014. Our prices were on line with what the U.S. gamers were paying $59.99 for games and same console prices across the board. Then February hit and our dollar hit a low and that's when game publishers and manufacturers saw this as an opportunity to raise gaming prices for consoles and console gaming (AFAIK - Steam gamers in Canada still pay $59.99 and under for newly released PC games).

I was seriously thinking this as well...For a moment in time, when the cost of retail disc-based games started rising this year and the cost of digital stayed the same, I was thinking about going fully digital on my PS4 games. Then Sony updated the PSN Store for Canada, and increased the digital prices of games to $69.99...which didn't help my decision any better and letting me still buy disc-based games at same price.

Correct answer is No. Gamers, in general, would rather have the ability to re-play their games they bought on a previous generation system (Backwards Compatibility), rather than paying again to play the game on the newer current-gen system.

And while I'll agree with you that this guy's opinion and his "journalistic views" (Read all of his stories on o.canada.com - they all favor Xbox) all are completely idiotic, and I probably hate him as much as you do, I do not see how you can disagree that the Xbox One is a better "value" than the PS4. I 100% agree. I don't understand why some people are actually sticking up for and approve of this price hike across all forms of gaming, including digital, like seriously? Indeed, I hate how Canada essentially revolves around the US Dollar, but that's the way it works for us I guess.
Also, Microsoft are probably all smiles right now and are going to ramp up production for Canadian retailers, cause if you think about it, Sony's $100 advantage is now gone up here....
I'm a Canadian as well - and I'm sorry you feel that way. You do realize that most retailers in the States do not accept Canadian Currency, and if they do accept our currency, they automatically calculate the price difference so that we end up paying the same down there as we do up here (probably more with import fees/taxes).

I'm pretty sure I would survive any survival horror setting by acting/faking my death when fear lingers around. Then when the coast is clear I just keep creeping ever so closely to a window or any kind of exit, then go back into fake death mode until eventually I've escaped and every one of those zombies/deformed-mutant humans/crazy doctors are like "We've been screwed out of fresh flesh, wait fresh flesh?? bet you cant say that 5 times fast :D"

I remember when EB Games initially increased the prices on all PS4 1st party games beginning last month, then it became all PS4/PS Vita and Xbox One 3rd party game prices rose middle of February. Then other retailers including Best Buy, Future Shop and Amazon.ca all increased their prices accordingly. And it wont be long ...

I agree. These are my first Wireless Surround Sound headphones I've ever owned, and the fact at how comfortable they are, and how many devices I can use them with, coupled with PlayStation branding and colors they are truly a great product at a great price.
