I REALLY want to hear new info. Why do they leave us in the dark and torture us by withholding information? I love Battlefield and this is how they repay me!? Com 'on! Tell me about jets, tell me how big the Conquest maps are, treat me like a little kid and feed me info like i'm a gerger baby.

I was hoping for a full $60 release of Tribes. not a downloadable title, this is kind of dissapointing since Section 8 has already taken over Tribes, though I'm not saying S8 is better than Tribes. I just hoped they would be making a full game.
I'm not going to lie but the cod video looked fun as hell. this is a pretty accurate statement though.
Even if they don't have day and night cycles, I hope they put in the option of choosing which time of day or night you want.
There must be a program that converts pictures or images into mine craft. I don't see any indication that he actually made that though, it looks a little too accurate. I could be wrong though, but I wish he'd put some footage of him actually making the picture.

So far I think that the only 2 games that come close to the tech demos they released are bf3 and the DX11 version of Crysis 2. That's not to say that gown doesn't look good, it just doesn't accurately reflect their demo.
I'm not worried about sales at all, and never have been. I just want the BF franchise to get the respect it deserves.
These are 2 games that have claimed to be next gen. It's only fair to compare, but rest assured there is no competition between the 2.
It's nice to see bf3 getting so much attention and I'm sure the votes will go more to bf3 further down the year.
Looks amazing. The textures are cleaner and it looks like it should've when it first came out.

I'll admit, War For Cybertron was good, but this game looks bad. The studio only had 1 year to make it.

I'm really looking forward to this game. The only way this game can fail now is if EA screws up the marketing to a point where you can't stand the sight of the game any longer. that or you have to pull the trigger twice to fire one bullet.
I can say that the steel book cases won't be coming to North America. Think about it, steel cases cost much more than plastic cases so wouldn't you give that to the least populated country instead of North America to cut down costs?
In other words, steel cases will costs too much to make if released in America.
DICE showed us the PC version first, then the PS3 version. People are only mad out of envy. The long time fans are also mad because despite how they say they don't like a decision DICE or EA makes on the game, they are doing it because they want the best BF game they can get. They are pushing the developers to a point where they think they can get what they want. In this case a PS3 version that will match the PC version. We all know that that's not going to happen but hey, realize tha...
They look as close as you can get today. i wonder what will be made from here on out. I do think that BF3 is a couple years ahead of anything in the graphics department so far though, except for Crysis 2 DX11, they are pretty close.
With those kinds of designs and concepts, why don't they just make the game. I'm willing to bet we will wish that this was official because I find it hard to think that the official version will look that awesome.
