The tourney players asked for this though. It's not like they didn't know. The game isn't being released for the casual crowd or to many millions of dollars.
The Steambox is of no use. It's just Valves name that keeps it in the news.

BF3 didnt have commander mode, attack boats, emblem creator, vehicle camos, new awesome modes, levelution, or buildings that alter the map. So how is it the same?
Played a demo of it and knew itd be a great game. Getting it next year when i can afford it.

I have a lot of respect for DICE but I hope they don't mess up the next two games. BF4 is tons of fun, but the bugs should've been worked out well before launch.
When it shines it shines, but when it just refuses to let you play, you just groan and put another game in.
What's a game if you just make an interactive movie? That's the issue here.
I have a job and go to college, so no I do not have 100 hours to sink into BF4 to unlock the guns I want. I feel that having a shortcut option is fine because it allows the consumer to be able to get to a certain level or be able to play what they want without having to grind through game after game on a very strict time schedule.
