Not to say AC isn't well made and intuitive. I'm just getting sick of the "here's another game this year just for the sake of continuity." this is a skip for me. I'll wait until AC3 and I hope it doesn't have Ezio.
I am not saying the game deserved a 7. But he gave it a 6.5, but I think it should AT LEAST be a 7.
honest review. The game's $60 price tag is only worth it for the multiplayer. As with many of the reviews, the co-op and singleplayer are only average. My only problem is that the 6.5 should be a 7. Be glad they added a singleplayer and co op in the first place.
The game i think came close was Medal of Honor 2010. I think though the game had technical problems, the SP was great and the characters (even though not fully fleshed out) were great. By of end of that game, you felt sorry for the people you were with and the emotion they put into the soundtrack and effort of realism (usually, the gun you would start out with was the best gun in each mission because of the U.S military) added an effect I hadn't seen in military shooters before.

most military FPSs don't offer more than point and shoot and it's hard to incorporate more incentive to a true-to-life game. Bioshock gives you powers which mixes up the combat. You can also upgrade weapons and your character, and the story is interesting because you see the antagonist face to face.
Military FPS is hard to keep interest and SP is often short because the mechanics are so limiting. You can only do what soldiers do, and often fight faceless enemies. I...

Doom guy fought hordes of enemies at a time. Master Chief took down alien spacecraft single-handedly. Doom guy wins hands down.
When COD3 was on Xbox 360, I hated it. The multiplayer for it was good though.
Assassin's Creed is too. I don't see anyone protesting that. I on the other hand am skipping Revelations because of that.
I remember spawn Armageddon. I was young and it creeped me out.
Heres a tip. Watch actual gameplay that isn't a part of a trailer. That way you'll know exactly what your getting into.
