I went to this when it was on tour. So amazing! I’m glad I went because they said they couldn’t renew the license with Nintendo so it was the last year doing it. Def picking this up
This game is honesty too big for its own good. I commend them doing this but I don’t know anyone who has “beaten” this game.

God I hope not. I have great internet and I still don’t want that. I’ve only gone 100% digital for my games in the last 2 years. And some of my friends still live in places with terrible internet. They can’t download 20 gig games let alone 80+ gig games. They just squeak by with online play.

People really don’t seem to grasp the difference between a Remaster and a Remake.
Remaster is just using existing code and assets. Prettying up character models, upresing the whole game, maybe redoing some sound elements. This requires a lot less work and time. These shouldn’t be full price. It’s essentialy a port to a new more powerful hardware. Examples-last of us remastered, all the assassins creed remasters for current gen, shadow of the colossus.

Actually it’s a Remake. Not a remaster.
Remaster are just going in to pretty up visuals and tighten up some gameplay elements.
Remakes are built brand new from the ground up. All new assets and code for everything. They just happen to be following a story or setting previously done. Still requires just as much time and effort as making a brand new game.
So yeah I think it will be worth full price. Just my opinion.
Yeah I assumed that. But have they marketed them besides a picture? Every FC since 3 the villain has been marketed well and seemed interesting as hell. These are just two girls I assume are twins but could just be sisters. And in no adverts have I seen them do anything antagonizing. They could just be faction leaders I get missions from for all I know. Like I said. Bad advertising.
My main reason I’m skipping this one and hoping the sales show them that’s a bad direction to take the series in. Maybe they will course correct for far cry 6.
First Far Cry I’ll be skipping. At least till is $15-$20 or something. And I thoroughly enjoyed FC:Primal.
They have done a terrible job in advertising in my opinion. I don’t know who the antagonists are. Who the main character is supposed to be. But what REALLY bothers me is the numbers shooter it’s become. I can’t stand numbers shooters.
Maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised whenever I do pick this up down the line. But as of right now I have little to no interest.
I honestly can’t go back and play the old AC games simply because of the new combat system. I tried replaying AC Black Flag(my favorite AC) and it was just okay. The combat grew stale pretty quick though.
It’s a shame they weren’t able to implement the new combat in this remaster. I get why they couldn’t. But it’s a shame. Glad I beat it when it came out so I’m not really missing much.
I would be pretty excited about this. RE3 Nemesis is the only major console RE that I never played when it came out. Not sure why it just seemed to slip past me. So I would love to play this fresh in the new RE2Remaster style.
For Honour and Hitman season 1 are both great games. For people who don’t have em already that’s a pretty good get for free.
Uuum I’ve had this exact one for my PS4 pro for over a year. And I only paid $80CDN on a sale then. So I’m not sure what this article is referring to. I know it was about a year give or take a few weeks because I got it around the time I moved.
I have the same one but the Xbox version for my 1X I got a couple weeks after that. I don’t remember what I paid for that one not on sale but it sure as hell wasnt $119.99CDN.

I never played the other games growing up. But I’ve always heard good things about them. So I picked this up. I like the characters. And I have no idea what the hell is going on. But that’s not what bothers me. I just played this for 45 minutes and no lie there was two, two minute gameplay sections the entire time. The rest was cutscenes. I wasn’t expecting that. I’m done for the night but I really hope it’s more than an hour of gameplay in the next 15hrs of game.
Yeah I can see these sales going well. This games phenomenally well done. Capcom has really been doing good work. I actually look forward to their releases again.
I actually really like RE7. I just replayed it before RE2R came out. But I must say I think they nailed the gameplay formula here. It plays beautifully. All the proper mechanics are here with some of the modern tweaks and upgrades from the newer games. It handles so much better than RE4. I replayed that before 7 last week and I was disappointed after so long. On the surface it looks like it would play pretty much the same as RE2R. But it doesn’t handle nearly as well. I haven’t heard of any of those tricks being included. I doubt it though.
I’m the same way. I’ll play through the main game campaigns normally. Then I’ll play a round or two with alternate costumes and cheats/tricks if the game includes them. Sometimes I just like feeling like a beast and destroying everything in my path lol

I’ve been ITCHING to play this game and held off on the demo as I want to go in fresh Thursday night. But it’s been hard not watching videos or downloading the demo.
