Clearly you haven’t actually played the game. Maybe play it and come back. If you still don’t like it at least your opinion will be valid.
Any noticeable frame rate dips in your experience? I haven’t had the sound bug so I’d just like that to be worked on.
I haven’t updated to 1.06 because some players were reporting crashes on PS4 pros after installing it. But I really want to cuz even on my pro it’s starting to drop some serious frames in two areas in the third act. I don’t have a counter but I would guess it’s hitting mid teens and it’s really becoming an issue. It wasn’t anywhere else before though.
People might use this to trash the game but I’m loving it and just curious if anyone else has had similar issues?
I feel like this came too late personally. I really liked AC Odyssey but that game is HUGE. I played through it twice and I’m kinda burned out on it. It’s such a huge game and being a completionist it really took it out of me the second time. I don’t want to jump back in again after around 200 hrs. I was looking forward to this DLC to when I was actually playing Odyssey.
This is just my opinion. But major expansions coming so much later just doesn’t work for me.
I agree. Loved mad max. Just replayed it last month. Days gone def has a similar gameplay loop. I was saying it reminds me of it a bit to.
Mad max was pretty much panned on release. It was/is such an under appreciated game. I think this game will be the same. Although I’ve found user reviews for Days Gone are a lot better than they were at the time for mad max.
Im playing on a Pro. I have the occasional frame rate stutter here and there. Nothing major though. That load time on booting up the game though is a little obnoxious lol I thought the game froze the first time I started it.
All I’ve had is some stuttering from time to time. No major bugs or crashes. No sound issues SO FAR that some people have been mentioning. The 1.05 update this morning didn’t seem to help the frame rate dips. But I’m sure it did something so that’s still good.
There seems to be a major divide between critics scores and user scores. I’m having a blast playing it. Maybe it’s just my type of game. But it’s fun as shit so far.
Yeah it’s great to see this stuff! Ghosts of Tsushima looks fantastic. Day one for me. And I’m playing Days Gone now and it’s a blast. Don’t know what these reviewers issues were.
Yeah I’m right with you. I had it preordered and was a little taken back by the review scores. But everything I saw beforehand looked great. Now I’ve got about 4-5 hrs in just messing around and learning the game and I’m having a blast.
Playing this till Endgame tonight then coming back and playing till bed. With GoT on Sunday. It’s gonna be a good weekend.
People say/said the same thing about Mad Max when that came out. Yet it’s a personal favorite this gen. Yes it can be a bit repetitive so I see those complaints. Maybe it won’t be the best game this year. But it should still be fun. I’m looking forward to finding out for myself.
That’s actually what first came to my mind lol def not that. It’s just a mobile version of some popular arcade game in Asia.
This is not what I was expecting when I heard TCG. Cus it’s def not in the sense 99% of westerners would think of. Didn’t care for it. Def not made for me.
You could definitely feel the influences of TLOU in GoW. I was saying that to a buddy when it first released. Both phenomenal games.
I just ordered one the other day. Had to order from the UK since a North American release hasn’t been announced. That conversion rate! “ouch”. Canadian dollar is shit right now.
I’ve heard people complaining that Nacon doesn’t produce good quality products. But I had the Revolution V2 and never had any complaints. I just lost the cable in a move last year and sadly you can’t seem to buy them separately for some odd reason. A lot of people complain about customer service from nacon. ...
Really the only game I’m anxiously anticipating this month. Digital delux pre ordered. I’ll be playing it Thursday at 9pm! Then Avengers Friday night. Gonna be a good weekend.
30 hr story. So with side content and what not it should be pretty decent length.
They need a new engine. Period. And they already said that’s it's the same one. I’m hopeful for this game obviously. But I’m also not sure I can say I’m optimistic.
Possibly. Or it’s just a better game than reviews say. I have both console and no allegiance to either. If this were an Xbox exclusives I’d still be saying the exact same thing. Is it a 10/10 or even a 9/10 game? Not at all. But it’s a solid game that is fun and the story gets better the farther into it you get. Starts a little slow. And the game has some issues. But all in all it’s a blast to play.
