Yup my thoughts exactly. By all accounts this is a decent to good game. But I was very unimpressed with their previous games.

Sony/Disney situation aside, Disney+ is day one for me. That catalog of content is massive. I really hope king of the hill gets put on there now that they own it. Show doesn’t stream anywhere in Canada.
I’ve honestly avoided pretty much every EA game the past few years. They’ve ruined all their good franchises. Was super into SWJ: Fallen Order and fully expecting to pick it up. Hopefully they don’t bungle this one up to. They really can’t afford to otherwise they wont have a chance to renew the license with Disney.
If they mess this game up when it’s looking fantastic so far I’ll def never give them a chance again with my wallet.

This entire game is made up of anime tropes and characters. It’s well done. And I like it. But it’s nothing new or original in any way. So a character like this is no surprise.
I love the fire emblem series and this is a day 1 for me. But I was/am a little concerned about how much emphasis seems to be being placed on the relationship building aspect. It was totally fine and even somewhat enjoyable in the last few 3ds games. But it looks to have been amped up in Three Houses. We shall see Friday I guess.

I literally bought my switch within 2 months of release because they had announced a new fire emblem game for it. Didn’t say when lol I assumed a year to a year and a half. Man was I wrong lol

I bought this controller. Def took some time to get used to the asymmetric sticks. Works pretty well. Feels like it’s well built.
For anyone looking for a more Xbox feel controller this is a pretty good substitute if you have the money for it. The wired/wireless model is pricey.
This game is already out on consoles. The switch version with a few minor additions is coming out soon. There’s a few mobile versions but they are even more lacking. Kinda fun if you really want to play yugioh. But def not great.

I just started replaying this the other day and I was wondering if they might do a surprise drop of the bosco suit. Didn’t expect both new suits though. So awesome!

Do a nightwing in bloodhaven game. Start him out when he first moves to that city and is starting out on his own. Give the story a reason to start with the bare minimum and work your way up.
But I’m a massive nightwing fan so that’s just me.

I’d just like the remasters of Ocerina of Time and Majoras Mask. Those were both great ports that looked nice and smooth. Would love a proper camera control in OoT that was implemented in MM3D.

I think it really just depends on how well the next generation of consoles sells. If they sell as well as this gen it would be dumb to think people don’t want another traditional console generation.

Both DLC’s are fantastic. Blood and wine might as well be a smaller but just as packed and lovingly made sequel. And hearts of stone is a great new questline/story with a bunch of new items and weapons. If you loved Witcher 3 you are going to be wondering why you didn’t dip back into these sooner.
Sadly it’s still nearly full price in Canada. We get shit deals on some games. Regular games here are 79.99. It’s 66.99. I agree with you and bought multiple copies of Friday the 13th for myself and a few friends for the same reason. But I’ll wait till it hits 39.99 here. Def will buy it then.
Side note: I watched the ACG review and that’s what made me think I will def pick it up after a price drop.
