With this game, REmake HD, The Evil Within, and Silent Hills, we're definitely seeing a renaissance for the survival-horror genre. Reminds me of the PS1/PS2 days. Can't wait!

--True. The Vita (with its massive power advantage over the 3DS) can theoretically last this whole gen. Sony can just do a relaunch/rebrand/remodel with new games and more affordable memory cards. Technically, the Vita hardware is just gonna get cheaper over time.

Just goes to show how advanced the Vita hardware is compared to the 3DS. We already had a 2nd, larger analog stick and faster CPU and RAM 3 years ago (the Vita). I still believe the PSVita was launched ahead of its time.
Although honestly, even if I already have a Vita, I'm thinking of getting this 'New' 3DS just so I can play Bravely Default, Xenoblade and Yoshi's Island.
Kinda sucks though for existing 3DS owners. I can't imagine if Sony...

I'd like to see a descendent of Kung Lao; it's fitting for the MK mythos as there already was the first Kung Lao (who was defeated by Goro) and the 2nd Kung Lao from MK2.
On topic, I hope they dont include Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade as playable characters in MKX as we already have CASSIE CAGE who already has a fighting style reminiscent of her parents. What's the point of bringing Cassie in if she's just gonna be overshadowed by her older parents. (no offense to Johnny and Sonya fans)
I don't think there's anything wrong with a fighting game sequel featuring fresh new faces as long as it is done correctly. Take for example Tekken 3. We had a mix of old characters (Paul, Heihachi, Lei), legacy characters (Forest Law, King 2, Julia Chang), and new ones (Jin, Eddy, Xiaoyu, Bryan) etc...
I actually enjoyed Soul Calibur V, more so then IV. But that that was mostly because of the refined battle system and fast gameplay. People couldn't accept the new...
Cool. I also like games with beautiful soundtracks, gives the game that extra element that makes them memorable. There are some PS1 games I still play today because of the OSTs.
Also good to hear the gameplay is challenging. It's great to have all these indie games coming to PS4/Vita.

Things I want for a possible "Revelations 2"
- Claire Redfield / Barry Burton as lead protagonists
- Cinematic camera angles to build tension; switches to RE4-style over-the-shoulder when aiming/shooting
- Limited ammo/supplies
- Challenging puzzles, backtracking (NO CHECKPOINTS, CHAPTERS/MISSIONS)
- Bring back the Typewriter for saves
- Spooky setting at first then go back to Raccoon City test site (post-RE3, seen in the epi...
The PSVita is an underrated system that deserves more support from developers, gamers, and even Sony.
There's such a huge variety of games available for the system (though you won't see them on store shelves, you have to go look in the PSN store.)
People who hate on it most likely haven't tried playing or doesn't own one.
My 32gb memory card is already and I'm thinking of getting a 64gb one. (if only Sony would just lower the memory card prices!)
