I'm tired of this pr guy riding on the PlayStation brand popularity. Trying to hype Xbox brand and make it seem on equal footing with PS. Lol
Personally, the omission of a 4k Bluray drive on the PS4 Pro doesn't bother me but I understand the disappointment of some people. I don't have a 4k TV yet. The main reason I'm getting a PRO is for the improved graphical fidelity for GAMES. (Supersampling, 1900p, improved frame rates, etc on a regular 1080p TV).
I'd rather have 1400p - 1800p games than 4k Bluray movies, 1080p movies is still GOOD ENOUGH for me.
Torn between PS4 Pro or PS VR...
On one hand I want to try out the Vr games, notably Resident evil7, Farpoint, and Robinson the Journey. On the other, I want to play FF XV at the best graphical settings....Hmm decisions decisions.....
If your priority is better graphics and performance for games get the Ps4 Pro.
If you want to play UHD Blu ray, get the Xboxone S.

Animations are also less refined on the mobile version. Also, the ios/android are dumbed down gameplay-wise, with no skill or strategy whatsoever needed to win (tap, tap, tap to win)
Soul Calibur is still the best fighting game on smartphones/tablets, with a near-perfect recreation of the Dreamcast game.
Why not? It's a proof-of-concept of a game announced 9(!) years ago.
It also give us fans the opportunity to give feedback to the devs so they can improve on the final build. :)
Ot- barring some technical flaws, FFXV is shaping up to be a fresh exciting take on the FF formula. Has anyone here played Episode Duscae? Everything feels seamless. The menus are simple yet elegant. Camping is fun. Battles are exciting. LOVE the music! I really hope Tactical View is just ...
Tactical View (activated by Touch Pad) needs to be updated for the final version:
- you cannot rotate camera in this view, which defeats the purpose
- although you can select to view each enemy's level, you cannot lock-on to them after
switching back to active battle, which again defeats the purpose
- hopefully the ability to see enemies stats and weaknesses in the final version
- to be able to issue manual commands for your party ( for ex...
I really think in the future, the PS5 SHOULD feature backwards compatibility with PS4 games.
It sucks not to be able to play your old games, considering console games now are expensive. My fat PS3 died and it kinda sucks the games just sit there (I also have a PS4).
Considering the PC-like 64-bit architecture of the PS4, one can assume the PS5 will follow in the same footsteps as its predecessor (possibly an upgraded AMD APU). There's no technical reason ...

Jill's looks differ from one game to the next, yup every single one. Her Revelations model is a far cry from her PS1 live-action actress. Same with Chris, try switching from his default model to his RE5 model in REmake. Leon looks different in RE4 compared to RE2 (even his hair color was changed w/out explanation). Ada--well, i'll give you that, Ada looks the most consistent across all the games.
lol. let's just hope Capcom gives us their RE 1&2 costumes as free dlc at least.
It was a blast but not quite RE1-style survival horror. But getting there at least. Enemies don't drop ammo, resources are scarce, so that's something.
All we need for RE7 are the hand-painted, ultra-detailed backgrounds, fixed camera angles, item boxes, and the feeling of isolation without a partner and we're set!
In continuity, in those 6 years, she's also faced 3 different biohazard outbreak incidents: Raccoon City, Rockfort Island, and the events in Degeneration. Add working for TerraSave and she's bound to look "stressed". Maybe it's post-traumatic stress. Anyhow that's more realistic than her not aging at all.
Same here. I think more than the changes to her face (rounder cheeks, fuller lips, eyebags) it's her voice that feels so different.
But closer to his original PS1 model / live-action actor.

Great atmosphere, intriguing story, awesome gameplay mechanics, scary enemies, survival horror, Raid mode, Claire and Barry! The only thing that irks me is the episodic delivery.
Score: B+ (would score it higher if not for the technical issues like frame stuttering)
They should keep this style of gameplay for the Revelations sub-series and return to REmake gameplay for Resident Evil 7.

Wow this is nice. I want a PSVR unit but since funds are limited I might be getting a PS4 Pro instead. Will get this bundle sometime next year :]
