No wonder the Vita is dying, Sony themselves are slowly killing it!
On a side note, SaGa Vita and RE Revelations 2 are the only games im looking forward to play on the device right now, hope they dont screw that up as well. At least i have my ps1 catalog to play, which is both a happy and sad thing tbh.

REmake 2 with new an expanded city section, new police station rooms, remixed puzzles, new weapons, new monsters, hand-painted backgrounds ala REmake1. Do the same thing with RE3.
I'm cautiously optimistic Capcom can pull this off since im not sure who has the creative vision in the company who can execute this well. Shinji Mikami, the original creator, has since left Capcom. Maybe they can hire him as a consultant or outsource the gMe to his company? Knowing Capcom tho...
I just did a marathon of RE1-3 as well recently. Three of my all-time faves. ;) Try playing Revelations 1 on PS3 or PC. You just need to acquaint yourself with some Revelations gameplay mechanics and enjoy the mildly entertaining story. The Jill segments are the most fun for me. All in all its a solid groundwork and a step in the right direction for RE. REVELATIONS 2 looks like it will surpass it in every way (Better characters, premise, enemies, gameplay, level design)

Really happy with the PSX Vita announcements today! Gonna download NFS Most Wanted later, Resogun this month, and Revelations 2 hopefully by February!
More than that, I think the PS5 should be backwards-compatible with PS4 games and improve their graphics. Provided the PS5 uses a souped-up version of the PS4's architecture.
Although I'd be grateful for a PS4 Dissidia, I feel that its gameplay and calendar features would work best on a handheld (Vita please) :)
Unless they turn Dissidia 3 into a full-blown RPG ala Kingdom Hearts. (I think Nomura expressed interest on doing a Dissidia RPG before) Imagine travelling to various FF worlds (Midgar, Ivalice, Esthar, Lindblum) with a party consisting of Cid, Terra, Red XIII, Squall, Vivi, etc... (drools)

I had Alone in the DarK One Eyed Jack's Revenge and thought it was crap, haha. Also had AitD: The New Nightmare and that was awesome! One of the better horror games, imo. Story, music, and backgrounds, and flashlight were amazing for its time! I thought that game partially inspired the RE remake.
Yup played Fatal Frame 1-3! But for some reason The Crimson Butterfly was the only one I managed to finish, lol :)
Buy it on PS4 then. Or X1. Or PS3. Or 360. Or PC.
The same way you told us PS fans to buy a 3DS when Revelations was announced.

Oh yeah? Did you complain for Playstation fans when REmake and RE0 were announced as Gamecube exclusives? Or when RE PSP was moved to the 3DS as Revelations?

Hell yeah! It was the PS1 game that made me and my dad go out to buy a memory card! haha. I was 11 years old back then. RE1 really was a genre-defining game. Remember the moments when you had to find the Eagle and Wolf medals and insert them into the pool to reveal the secret lab? F*** good memories!

I hate the hand-holding in the recent RE games. Make the game challenging like the PS1-era games so players actually get a sense of fear and accomplishment!
I'd also prefer a RE2-type scenario switch:
New Game Scenario A starts with all-new character who's an ordinary citizen/survivor (not military or special ops). Mid-way through the game, you meet veteran Claire Redfield who helps you out...
Like releasing REmake and RE0 exclusively on the Gamecube after selling millions of the first 3 games on PS1?
Or announcing RE portable for PSP then quietly canceling it and repurposing it as Revelations1 on 3ds?
If anything, Revelations 2 on Ps4 and Vita is Capcom's apology to their fans.
