True. Fans and supporters should definitely buy this. People keep on complaining about lack of games for the PSP - well, if you support game piracy you're contributing to the problem (developers are hesitant to create games because they're not earning back their investment...)
As if Capcom is gonna sell their biggest cash cow... :p
Maybe they can hire Shinji Mikami as a consultant or director? :/
But yeah, Viewtiful Joe 3 with HD graphics would rock!
@below: Agree. "Legends" is my favorite Mega Man series. Can you imagine how good it would look on the PS3???
...DualSphere on PS4? :p
I want RE6 to have zombies, and actually be scary! (with just the right balance of action and puzzles)
Plus:
- Move support
- expandable story via DLC (preferably FREE or at least cheap)
- mix of old and new characters (bring back Claire and Yoko from Outbreak!)
- creepy setting
- a classic Tyrant battle!
Both Eyedentify and Ni-Oh look interesting. Yup, would love to see more of Eyedentify played with Move...or a new game with a similar concept...
I'm glad Sony stuck with the Sixaxis/DualShock3 design, the boomerang controller looked awkward to hold. :s
I'm sorry what did you just say?
Can't wait to play this on my Go and complete the MGS saga. Too bad the PSN price is a bit steep ($40 for the digital download, although I think its worth it for THIS game).
Next- Kojima has to remake Metal Gear 1 & 2 (Outer Heaven & Zanzibar missions!) :)
Yeah, my favorite Square Enix games so far this gen are the ones for the PSP (Dissidia, Crisis Core, War of the Lions).
Aside from FFv13, I'm also waiting for Agito13, KH: Birth By Sleep, and Parasite Eve 3rd Birthday. So I think the PSP is the system of choice if you're looking for that old-school Squaresoft vibe... :)
Best case scenario:
FF versus 13 gameplay revealed - wows audiences and reignites fans' faith in Square and JRPGS; remains exclusive to PS3. (crosses fingers for this)
Worst case scenario:
FFv13 goes multiplat- another gimped FF guaranteed. :(
It's nice that Sucker Punch decided to redesign Cole. Personally, I think he looks more relatable. (Maybe taking a cue from Uncharted's Drake?)
I'm tired of seeing "dark & gritty" characters in games just to make the game look "badass".
....although i kinda miss his yellow jacket :p
Agreed. Looks like franchise material. ;)
I miss Mikami on RE...hoping Capcom would get him involved again somehow...
So far spent 120+ hours on it (lol, i know) and my PS3 never froze on me. Guess I'm lucky. :)
Looks interesting...can't wait to see what else they got at E3. :)
I'm hoping for more full-length, "hardcore" games...
Really? You mean a multiplatform engine is gonna be more effective in using the PS3's hardware? I hope so. I want my games to keep looking better and better. :) (i just checked early screenshots of Rage - BEAUTIFUL)
Raw power isn't everything though. Team ICO's games are an example of this, using art direction and subtlety in animation. The Last Guardian is looking to be another milestone as well...
I mean, Microsoft has introduced questionable stuff in the gaming industry (faulty hardware, pay-to-play online, overpriced peripherals, the whole limiting DVD/timed exclusive DLC crap.....
If Natal (and the Move as well) were to succeed, i hope it would be because of innovative and quality GAMES rather than marketing/sales. We already have enough shovelware on the Wii.
I want to play this now on my Go! :s This is coming out on PSN too right?
Experiment 626 aka Stitch = Summon = WIN
Really? I hope so, can't wait to replay it!
The PS3 is an evolution of the PlayStation brand, just as the PS2 was before. So "better" is subjective. :p
Technology: PS3 > PS2 > PS1
Nostalgia: PS1 > PS2 > PS3
lol
Also, "says xbox 360"??
I didn't know the 360 can talk... :p
If you don't like or believe in the product then don't buy it. Simple as that. :)
