Probably Tencent or Microsoft black ops so they could devalue the company and buy them.
Sell-in or sell-through?
EDIT: As in sold to retailers vs sold to users/gamers?
Capcom needs to reboot Dino Crisis - mix the best parts of 1 and 2. I’m all for the fast-paced action of the sequel over the slower RE-style vibe of the first. The mix of dinos, sci-fi tech, and jungle settings gave it that eerie, liminal feel I loved.
A third-person free-look camera would be perfect. Bring back Regina, next-gen style, and go wild with the dinos, weapons, and environments. And don’t forget the save room music!
I grabbed Exoprimal on sale ...
As a long-time fan and owner of every PlayStation system - including the PS Vita, PSVR2, PS5 Pro, and PS Portal - I have serious doubts about the viability of Sony’s next handheld. Unless it launches with a robust, readily available catalog of games that run natively on the device, it’s likely to be dead on arrival. It must be able to compete directly with the libraries of the Nintendo Switch (both current and upcoming versions) and Steam.
Right now, it’s hard to imagine ho...
I’m still holding out for a physical release on PS5 or Switch. Has Capcom confirmed whether a disc version is still in the works?
Good job America!
Hoping we can customize the character with hairstyles or helmets (Ratchet and Clank-style) haha
I would buy a Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin sequel
The first games i completed (I think I was 6 yrs old) were Castle of Illusion and Psychic World on the Sega Game Gear. Owned a Genesis too and completed Sonic 2 on that. Our dad gifted us a PS1 with Tekken 1 and have been a mainly PS gamer since! I'm satisfied with the games and technology here in the PS5 generation - reminds of the PS2 generation in terms of how well games looked and ran. New Resident Evil and Final Fantasy games release every year - I'd say we're spoiled!
I'm really enjoying my PlayStation Portal! Had a blast playing FF7 Rebirth on it. Can't wait to see the Switch 2 and the next PSP ;)
Got Part 1 on sale and upgraded my Part 2 disc to Remastered last weekend. Replaying with my dad and brother was super fun and reminded me why I love this series. Can't wait for Naughty Dog's next game and Part 3!
Yes to Creative Business Unit 3 doing more FF games! The level of detail in the presentation, story, lore-building is something we have not seen in Final Fantasy for quite some time. They could just tweak the combat and replace the Eikons with party members and add back the elemental affinities and some sort of Gambit or Paradigm Shift system.
For context, FF7 on PS1 sold 330,000 units on its release weekend in North America (Sept 1997) and hit 1 million units sold by December 1997.
I really hope Master Collection Vol 2. INCLUDES MGS 4: Guns of the Patriots! I've seen a rumor saying Vol 2. only includes Portable Ops, Peace Walker, and Rising: Revengeance... :(
Can't wait to buy a PSVR2 and play RE Village and 4 Remake in VR!
Also Sony, can we get a new, modern PlayStation Portable please? :]
X-Men Vs Street Fighter reboot!!!
I hope that Microsoft would address these quality/build issues since consumers are paying more for what is marketed as a "premium" product. And I hope that Sony doesn't have these same issues when they launch the DualSense Edge.
On one hand, I’m glad that more fans will be able to play the REmake 4 on PS4. On the other, The potential of the game in terms of graphics and gameplay could be held back by older hardware. So at this point, I’m just expecting a prettier, PS4-level remake instead of a full reimagining using the power of the PS5 and XSX… 🫤
There are some Xbox Series units available in-store here in my country while the PS5 is always out of stock. Glad I was able to secure my one within 3 months of launch date.
Great news! Initially was disappointed that my Steam copy of AC4: Black Flag wasn't compatible on my new 5070 ti laptop but since the update, happy to say I have downloaded and played the game successfully (Black Flag's my favorite AC).
