Dude why wait a week? The man is obviously aware of the rumours and the internet going into a meltdown. Perhaps the PR team is formulating a very carefully worded script for him. Its very clear Phil has been reigned in by a very irate CFO. They want their return on investment by any means. Not saying XBOX is leaving the console market but XBOX centric media and their sources are leaking that all the XBOX tentpole games are going to be released on other consoles due to metrics.

Remake and Rebirth are on another timeline. At least thats my theory. The story is not a copy and paste feom the OG which, despite being a 25 year old game is absolutely fantastic and considered one of the greatest games of all time.

If they actually sell. I have a feeling if people were really jonesing to play a XBOX title they would have bought a XBOX console. I don't think any of their games is going to move serious numbers on PS5 unless they resonate with the expectations of PS5 owners. Their QC better step up.

Thats the nail on the head. The same thing the XBOX fans were cheering for drove XBOX to this point. Gamepass, the acquisitions their mentality of not buying games. They are their biggest enemies.

Since 2009 Rocksteady has built and defined THE definitive videogame rendition of Batman. What was done to him in this game is very dissapointing.
One cannot take tens of billion of dollars from the mother body and not expect to pay them back. We have been saying for years that yes MS is worth trillions but the XBOX division is not. They did the maths; gamepass subs growth is stagnating, series consoles are not selling well even with a considerable discount that was applied across three months and actual game sales are non existent due to the gamepass effect. The result; Satya and the CFO together with the board have had enough and are...
