Its very sad. The 360 won me over with Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Lost Odysee, Halo 3, Mass Effect and all in one year. They are very far gone.

Maybe they sneak in a "how to play physical media" video. It would go like this: go to store, find aisle of games, choose disc, buy disc, insert disc, play disc. That would be hilarious.

They still release a console with a disc drive and even a sell seperately disc drives for those who bought a digital console and want to buy physical discs later. The fact that their new digital sku can be upgraded with a disc drive was introduced after the previous digital sku which could not be paired with a drive actually tells you their commitment to physical games.
Why? PlayStation has a healthy mix of physical and digital sales.

The internet is mad, gaming enthuisiasts in general are mad but certain people are writing this off to the nature of corporate mergers instead of criticizing their precious Phil and company.
