Ironically it was the very ABK acquisition that sped this up. I dont believe Phil wasnt aware of this outcome as surely they must have done the math and realized that gamepass, low game sales and low console sales wouldnt be enough to cover the cost of the deal. Jim Ryans 10 year COD inclusion also screwed them over. CFO stepped in and Satya was likely outnumbered in a very interesting series of meetings.
