I ain’t spending 500 dollars to play games from 15 years ago, thanks. I want exclusives that define a console not smoke and mirrors.
Not just the failure of the Saturn, the 32X and the lack of communication between Sega Japan and Sega US regarding the launch of the Saturn was a mess. If I’m not mistaken at one point there were two teams working the on the development of what would become the Saturn with absolutely no correspondence between them.
Really sad, the Dreamcast was a brilliant console.
I remember March 2009 all excited going to collect my preorder. I remember the hollow feeling I woke up to the next morning realising that for the first time ever I was let down by a Final Fantasy game. It was sobering.
There’s no way they will leave out the classic 90s costume. I also want to see his weapon X getup as well as the 2000s movie suit.
I’m excited. It’s rated Mature for a reason and will be the first FF game ever with the exception of Versus XIII that was never released. As long as the story is epic, the characters are well developed during the course of the game and there are large areas and cities to explore I’m willing to open myself up to the action battle system.
The only thing that solidified XBOX is MS money. Had they been an independent company like Sega they would have folded long ago.
I certainly hope these clowns are not putting it in FF16. I fear this scenario as Final Fantasy has their deepest consumer base penetration.
I’m with you. My switch however was given to me by my brother when he upgraded to the OLED.
Too much salt is bad for your health.
I still have my copy. It’s a brilliant game despite the reviews.
I still play mgs4
Question is, what if developers take the Baldurs Gate 3 route and then just release their games sans the XBOX version due to the parity clause. MS may be forced to amend this. Once again poor planning and vision MS due to trying to blindly beat your competition. They should have taken the PS5 route; same spec console just one with or without a disc drive.
Oh Microsoft….can we fast forward a couple of months to get to the culmination of this. It’s like watching a healthy adult mess his pants. It’s funny at first but now it’s downright disgusting and frankly boring.
They can’t manage their own studios. Zenimax was bought almost three years ago. Where are the games? We literally three years into this generation, and where are the games MS????
The last two months? XBOX gamers have had no AAA exclusive releases for FAR longer than two months. This is about MS not being able to compete despite being in the industry for 22 years. They now literally trying to push the cart over.
Bet you Ms. Cheng has a cheque with her name on it waiting to be cashed if the deal goes through.
With Final Fantasy XVI coming up prepare to see some huge jumps.
One word: sliders lol
It’s about ensuring that there is no market dominance leading to unfair and anti consumer practises. If this was a sure fire thing it would have gone through already. They have already made the recommendation that COD be split off. So CMA will likely not be swayed by offers made.
This game is getting extra criticism for its battle system because it’s a PS5 exclusive. I’ve been playing FF since 1997 and I’m very excited for the game and not that fazed by the action gameplay. Granted there are purists who are genuinely not pleased by the direction of the game the vast majority of the outcry are coming from individuals who don’t even play RPGs.
