That’s two consoles. And no there’s no difference specs wise between the ps5 digital and disc sku. Even with the cheaper Series S Microsoft still can’t oust Sony. That not a monopoly, that’s consumer preference.

Exactly. Respect to them for not wanting to downgrade their vision for parity sake. This happened with the Saturn for more intensive 3D titles as well as the N64 when Squaresoft found that the hardware limitation of cartridges would hamper FF7. Nothing new here.

When the series X and S were announced a lot of people pointed out that the series S would hold not only the series X back but the PlayStation 5 as well. It’s quite apparent that this the stark reality for MS. It also appears that developers are not willing to not release their games for the PS5. Once again MS after 22 years in the industry has indicated they can’t manage their business.
Sony did not buy exclusivity here, it’s MS incompetence and lack of foresight as they just wanted...
