that kinda reminds me of when the PS3 came out. People on eBay were tricking consumers and selling the PS3 Box(no console inside) for £300.
PSASBR (isn't there a better way to type/say this?) stages looked very dull compared to brawl. It looked a little too clean and had nothing going on. Brawl had F-zero carts, Star-wing ships and amazing things going crazy.
Apart from that, its pretty similar. Wasn't the biggest fan of Brawl/Melee so these two games look kinda identical to me.
Publishers are important because they are the connection to the retail stores. A good connection allows them to get more orders.
Publishers also help advertise the product by having a bigger budget, PR expertise etc...
So Publishers are still needed.
SNK vs Capcom
Darkstalkers
Rival Schools/Project Justice
Final Fight
Any of those games would be great. let's hope it will get ported to consoles over here...
I think Onlive is just doing some PR bullshit...
Sony hasn't even announced what their plans with Gaikai are yet so nobody will know until then.
What is interesting about Gaikai at the moment is that it can run on browsers and is somehow compatible with facebook and youtube. So if Sony were to not have gaikai on those two sites then it will be quite stupid.
Sony is also trying to find partners with their playstion certified devices, so it should be safe to...
well sleeping dogs was named something else before it became a true crime title...
It was common knowledge for people who have read or saw anything about the game. Developers made it clear that the game was multi-player and that they were anonymous.
I don't think the developers ever wanted to keep it a secret, they probably didn't like having usernames over peoples head and useless voice/text chatting. they probably thought it was more fascinating by having you converse with others using actions only.
Story is probably gonna be similar to every other undercover movie.
Main character (Wei) will get too attached to the triads, will have mix feelings on who is right and who is wrong. Probably get to choose between arresting a certain person or letting them go.
Just think of movies like donnie brasco or fast & furious. Storyline will probably be more like fast & furious because I doubt the writers for sleeping dogs is that good.
looks like its been photoshoped. The offscreen vita photo and the other photo taken with fraps is the same. You can see where "fraps.com" is supposed to be on the vita screen is clearly been removed. You can tell by looking at the size of the top health bar.
Agreed.
Hope the rumor about XV is true.
Nothing much to add
Haven't completed 4 yet, but when I first played it I thought WTF was this crap, it's not RE and it was stupid in terms of get to this area, clear mobs, reach checkpoint, get cutscene and end of stage. In know most games does that, but what I liked about the older RE was that it seemed like one big level and you wasn't forced to kill everything in sight.
The graphics did make me think OMFG how can they do this without pre-rendered backgrounds and the controls were...
I acually don't mind DLC. It did piss me off that some DLC came on release date or jsut got locked out of the disc, but if you think about it, most devs has the right to do it.
Developers have a budget and timeframe to make a game from the start. They carefully plan how they spend that budget and what they could actually create without going over the budget. Anything else that needs extra manpower/hours which the budget couldn't fit in would cost them extra so they ch...
The difference is that playstation mobile caters to a different market. The market could potentially be massive, but with the lack of partners at the moment, it will probably fail.
The main problem with XLIG is that developers probably choose to develop on iphone/android. The PS mobile will face the same problem. The only way it can succeed is if PSvita sales drastically improve, Samsung becomes a certified partner and PS3/PS4 compatibility. Then the decent indie devs will ch...
I heard about the new updates acually making FFXIV playable but everyone I knew that played it quit before the update.
Wanted to give it a try but my gaming laptop died from playing Aion.
So just waiting for a PS3 release.
BTW does this game have pvp?
Talking from a gamers POV and not the companies POV.
Does it matter who gets the most sales at the end of this generations life cycle?
I think it is a little too late for Sony. Most games have been released and the developers have most often chosen the 360 as the main console and ported the PS3 version. If Sony was able to have alot more sales over the 360 a few years back then this may have changed the way developers work.
Soo... what improvement has 2.0 brought along?
Might actually get this game if this update is any good. was put off with all the bad reviews and the delayed PS3 version.
bloody fanboy.. what has nintendo got to do with this?
anyway nintendo likes to do things on their own show
@lilioups
wtf has hd dvd's demise got to do with this conversation and the price pf a bluray player?
you talk like a stupid fanboy.
@sjpftw
true, both companies milk franchises as much as each other...
i don'treally care about them milking franchises, means that i get to play more sequels that i like, only thing i hate about them is that it kills the online community from previous games.
remember games like cs,...
I guess US games should stick to cartoons and Japanese games should stick to anime.
Street Fighter V was pretty decent but the ending seemed so rushed.
ICO/Shadow of the Colossus would be amazing if Studio Ghibli/Hayao Miyazaki would do a animated movie. He/they seem to make an amazing living world in each movie.
Any JRPG could do well with an anime since most of the writing and characters are very anime like, especially FFVII.
I think they are also making a San Andreas one as well.
Looks great, but the weird thing about this game is that there doesn't seem to have any pedestrians.
