Yeah, trophies should be hard, I know some are ridiculously hard and some online trophies could be a pain in the ass. But trophies show commitment, whoever has a platinum trophy in a specific game would show how good he was.
I would be pissed if I had a platinum trophy from pacific rift that took me hours and hours and then others get it automatically because the server shut down.
@omarzy
Six Final Fantasy games????
Five of which are exclusive to play station?????
What are you counting?????
If FFvXIII is really cancelled then I guess most of the games assets will be used for kingdom hearts.
didnt i say that tomb raider was a pretty decent game???
i heard the fear effect games were pret decent too, but having two sexy lesbians definitely helps with game sales
Sex or sexual content helps with sale, could be a really shitty game but because of the sexual content it will be advertised more than usual and gain alot more attention than it should have.
Wasn't there a hack and slash game called x-blade or something like that. heard from people it was a load of crap but got quite a few people to buy it.
Tomb raider was a pretty decent game, but Lara croft basically sold the game.
Hope its a FF type-0 Vita announcement
They been in production for 4 years already, probably working their asses off. Versus XIII team have been sidetracked for a long time and was announced years before it was in actual development.
@judas-savior
Agree with you completely, XII had it's flaws but that was due to the story and characters. XII's battle system was amazing and the world felt alive compared to all the other games.
VI, IX & XII are arguably the best FF to have ever been released. VII & X just felt too anime-ish and I guess that's what most FF fans like so I guess they need to make the main characters like typical anime characters (Sasuke, naruto, Zoro, Luffy...
@nukeitall:
OKOK, I pulled that statistic of 0.01% out of my ass. But what I am trying to say is that Japanese do try and make a product with close to zero errors whilst the US don't.
Compare any US products to Japanese products and you understand what I am saying.
seems like the westerners can not underastand and enjoy anything beyond Pokemon/Mario and some COD bullshit.
what has the 360 and XBL policy got to do with this article?
No mandatory installations.
Less Loading times.
Better AI
Better environments
Realtime textures
Improved physics
@Haha123
Was the YLOD thing really serious? Only serious problem was the ps3 overheating.
I didn't know anyone with that problem so I never actually looked into how serious that problem was.
@testerg35:
Totally forgot about that, must have been very embarrassing for Toyota since they have a no error policy.
They aim for 1 mistake in every 1,000,000 that is 0.0001% which is/was pretty amazing for any company.
Japanese works differently to Americans. Japanese try to release products that have a 0.01% failure rate, Americans just consider the cost of products being recalled.
WTF is this article about?
It's like a 3 yr old asking the most weird questions, The 18 yr old died because he was playing video games, if he didnt play for 40 hours that time he would still be alive.
@r21
I doubt Nintendo are making a loss on the 3DS. that ridiculous 250 price mark was just Nintendo trying to con/make as much money from consumers as possible.
The 3DS is very cheap to make and I remember reading an article giving a rough estimate on each component.
Can't believe that I am actually interested.
Not sure what you are trying to say at the moment, but it sounds like you are saying that playstation mobile may go onto the OUYA.
If that is what you are saying, then that would probably never happen. OUYA would want too big of a cut from developers that Sony is already taking. It would be like XBLA being available on a PS store.
agreed. this could be homebrewers dream, but people who like to hack machines for piracy will always be around and hopefully they won't screw it up for homebrewers...
however you mentioned the vita running a game like l4d, running would be the wrong word since its more like streaming... this remote desktop probably will not get on the market since it could interfere with sony's gaikai service.
Isn't there a device where you could connect your internet connection through a power outlet?
http://www.amazon.com/Netge...
here's a quick example I just googled, not sure if this is the one my friends use.
I'm sure there are cheaper alternatives around but these devices should prove helpful to people who want the speed of wired connect...
