i thought running psp homebrew on a vita was old news? i mean if it was running a vita homebrew than that would be really interesting... and sony will be shitting their pants
how comes you don't believe her? she won a competition didnt she? I guess the competition was live in asia with cameras showing her actually playing.
What is so surprising that a taiwanese model can be good at a game? Isn't it exactly the same as any other person with a different occupation?
Didn't some Doctor/Surgeon become the new world record holder for Donkey Kong? I mean surgeons have less free time then models right? So do you think that is fake as w...
Very true... Homebrew always leads to piracy, even though two maybe unrelated, homebrew methods to crack a system will be used to crack the system to play pirated games.
Sony has always tried to support homebrew in some way but with the PSP and PS3, it kinda screwed them over.
are you trolling or on drugs or something?
he was talking about how everything is ported on the vita an have no exclusives then you go and point out a list of games which are mainly ports...
Not surprised since the game has 3 different campaigns!!!
What I am wondering is if the game will actually be split into 3 different modes or will it be one single big campaign where you will be switching characters.
NO NO NO!!!
No more HD collections, just spend your time and resources making new games. Unless you can quickly port an old game once every 2 weeks it is just no point at all.
On a side note, does anyone know how MGS games work on the Vita? I'm not really sure but I don't think the Vita has pressure sensitive controls.
@ShaunCameron
I don't remember NT actually making fun of the japanese culture. Plus don't confuse Chinese mythology/culture with Japanese.
@Whitefox789
I'm pretty sure that they will do their research, but I believe that games like Okami should be best left to the Japanese where they grew up with stories that can relate to the game.
I haven't played enslaved, but I heard they did an OK job briefly basing it on...
@kyosuke_sanada
There is no gain from NT using the MT framework, it would be wasted time learning how to function a new engine and would probably need alot of capcom staff to show them how the engine works.
After this DmC project NT will need to go back to using UE3 so basically them learning how to use the MT framework would have been a complete waste of time.
On a side note: Does anyone remember Resident Evil 5 running on UE3?
@godmars290
its true that capcom have always released different versions of the same game in the past, but now with online updates and DLC they should do a better job.
(A little too tired to properly explain)
If I was MS/Sony I would not price drop yet... sales are pretty healthy, might aswell keep profit as high as possible.
@torchic
4,000,000 levels to choose from? I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing...
I know you are being sarcastic but right handed mouses work better because the keyboard works better with the left hand.
I believe that the industry was totally different to what it is today, Dev's and publishers want more money because the market is alot bigger today. I also think casual games such as iphone or micro transaction games are indirectly ruining games that we play. The reason I say this is because alot of developers are seeing how these tiny low budget games are generating massive profits and wishes to make theses games instead of making the games that we love.
@yabhero
...
apart from the new vita ridge racer I don't think Cellius actually makes any games.
Would love for them to turn those concept/tech demos into real games though.
Think you may have it mixed up, I "think" super mario bros 2 was tooo similar to the original so nintendo US/EU(?) decided to port another game with mario sprites onto it.
What CaptainN says is most likely what happened, too long ago I can not remember the facts properly.
"The first time a Mario game has received a direct-sequel based off of the previous entry"
Mario bros 2??? is that not a direct sequel?
Where is the evolution?
It's more about supporting companies from your own country. Japanese people are brought up to support japanese companies because that's good for their own economy.
I doubt they hate the US since Apple products are doing pretty well over there. can't say the same about Saumsung(korean) products though.
I appreciate that reviewers are using the full 10 score now and rating bad games under a 5.0
Not sure if this game deserves it though, well we have to just wait and see what everyone thinks.
@revolverx
i guess online passes are a good idea.
online passes and dlc is to stop piracy, but on disc piracy kinda promotes it.
hackers and pirates can easilyunlock that content...
and releasing second editions of games that cannot be updated by dlc just screws the original buyer.
the way how capcom has handled dlc is terrible this gen..
sfiv could have easily had a few gb dlc to super, i wouldn't mind paying a hi...
I haven't got a clue, maybe hackers just want total freedom and create homebrew for free.
No matter what Sony does to try and promote developers to create great things for their systems, hackers always finds way to spoil it.
PS2 linux was apparently pretty popular which led to Sony making Linux fully compatible with the PS3, but hackers just love to fuck around with Sony and spoil it for everyone.
