i know what you mean, but i wasn't too fussed about installation size for games i know i will like. i hated mgs4 because of the inbetween installations, wish i could have installed the whole thing at once.
I do feel that installation for fighting games is a good idea since it speeds up the loading time, even though its only a few seconds faster. also people playing online will have the same load time which is a plus.
why would someone take screenshot of the off screen trailer and not the proper trailer?

I agree, its also suspicious that snake has a fox tag in the trailer, but in the first released photo he has a Militaires Sans Frontières tag.
I guess MGS experts will know the timeline behind all these tags.

Probably misunderstood you, but it seems like you are saying that this game isn't on the fox engine.
The furthest right logo at the end of the trailer shows that it is for fox engine.
If you are saying that it is not for the PC. Then we can all agree that it has not been offically confirmed yet.

I mentioned these pics/trailer makes MGS4 models like PS2 ones.
Not saying it actually looks like PS2 models, but just seems last gen compared to what we seeing right now.
This trailer actually makes most games look last gen to be honest.
Sorry, must have had alot of misunderstanding with my comment. I said the graphics were pretty decent(amazing).
I mentioned about the graphics when it shows something wet, sometimes it can look a little plastic like other first gen PS3/360 games. I was a little worried that some things may look a little weird.

I am impressed with this engine, I thought it would be crap and mediocre to be really honest.
It would be better if it was actually running on PS3 or 360 so we can actually see how it will look like on consoles.

Their were a couple of scenes in MGS4 that uses video files, which is why you cannot have different masks or camoflage on.
Other PS3 games use video files to cut down on loading time I think. Heavenly Sword also does that.
360 also needs to have cutscenes real time to cut down space on cutscenes. FFXIII video cutscenes apparantly looked like crap.

Surprised the Japanese developers have created such a fantastic engine, it does need to be careful not to make everything look plastic though. Happened with alot of the first gen 360/PS3 games.

Wii does seem to be getting some great RPG's. Haven't played it myself since i haven't touched or bought anything on my wii since wiifit.
Xenoblade & Lost story probably could have gotten alot more sales if it was ported over to PS3/360.

It's probably going to be a very lazy HD remake. with trophies etc... well that is better than having just a PS2 classic I guess.
Some HD remasters take alot longer because they change the engine, textures and a few other things that I haven't got a clue about. They also check for glitches and any other things more than usual because they do not want to waste time, resources and money on patching the game up.
Other's are just a plain and simple port. Rushed just to rip money off people and made the game look worst, like silent hill.
To be honest, if FFX doesn't look miles better than...
4K 100" displays will be nice in offices. Could have it for wallpaper, actually that would be amazing.

On a Serious note 35,000 yen is roughly the price of 5 brand new games. Not too much for some hard core collectors. Would have been nicer if they chucked in every FF PS game.
