its true what you say, but publishers will have to spend bucket loads of cash to put up servers all around the world. It's not as easy as putting up a digital store and not use steam.

Cloud gaming has a big chance of becoming a TV channel of some kind. If it isn't like a TV channel then I would atleast expect it to have a subscription based and be packed full of adverts.

I guess this tech maybe designed for people with disablities. People with no hands or fingers are disadvantages at FPS, maybe tongue plus feet(?) control can replicate dual analogs?

naruto storm games are arguably the best cel-shaded anime(Borderlands is not anime looking) looking games, this looks on par.

Making software alone is not enough. Being a publisher/developer is hard enough. Think about it, if PS3 was not around there is only 360. Not counting Nintendo devices since they are a years/generation behind (GC,Wii, WiiU).
Consoles need competition, just something that could boost sales and some people, fans and collectors buy the same game for both consoles.

A manga app would help in the US, but since scanlations pretty much dominate the digital viewing market it would be pretty hard to charge people to read.

IF ios games were that cheap then consumers will start to expect handheld games like 3DS and Vita(if they make any games for that) to be cheaper aswell.
FFIII was just a cheap port, could easily have been priced lower but since it is not a mainstream game they thought it was better to charge at high price and have only thousands of people to purchase it.

Tomb raider was more focused on puzzles, lots of jumping around and trying to get to other places.
Uncharted is more of a linear game, kill batch of enemies then jump/climb a linear path to next destination and kill next batch of enemies, then jump/climb and a bunch of enemies attacking you whilst you are still climbing.

to be really honest, at first glance of the screenshot I thought it was something for MS. Kinda reminds me of how all the apps/MS websites look at fullscreen using the metro thing.
Why use HTML5? is it more efficient on resources than other cding? I wonder if it will have Gaikai integration? clicking on a demo and playing straight away would be so much better than having to wait for the damn download.
